I don’t mind paid to eat good food but, charge almost $11 dollars for two eggs and only one choice of meat no even with coffee or anything is just crazy I’m sorry never go back here.

I stopped in today around noon for a Sunday brunch with my girlfriend, the place was small, and the tables are too close together it feels like other tables are in your personal space, unfortunately, this was the tip of the iceberg. # 1 I ordered coffee and the young waitress brought over black coffee and didn't offer or bring any milk or cream. # 2 Ordered a western omelet egg sandwich my regular order and it was gross, it was a lot worse than local competitors like Bun N a Burger, Hurricane Deli, Eckart's lunchnetee, Citarellis. # 3 Home fries were awful it was chunky potatoes barley cooked almost raw with little to no seasoning. # 4 My girlfriend's pancakes came with no butter. # 5 No ketchup was on the table or offered with my eggs. # 6 NO refills offered and no quality checks if we needed anything throughout our meal. # 7 The tall young lady waitress in red, nor any of the staff did not realize we finished our food and were waiting for the check...... this confused me because not only our waitress, but two other staff members were at the bar directly In front of us polishing their silverware.......facing directly at our table a few feet in front of them. It had been so long so me and my girlfriend pre pre-bussed are table and stacked the dirty finished dishes on our table and still no staff member noticed us for at least 20 minutes before I got up and approached them and asked for the check. They were too busy polishing there silverware to help us all three of the young ladies. Please you have been warned stay far away everything was awful....... I'm not sure what was worse the boring awful food, the crammed tight atmosphere, or the bare minimum style of service the young ladies run this place display.... Stay away...... go to Citarellis, bun n burger, Eckart's instead

{Although there are now far fewer establishments due to the dominance of corporate fast food restaurant chains, the greasy spoon diner is still nostalgic thanks to "counter service, jukeboxes and hearty comfort cuisine"} Located in the middle of the hamlet, except for the jukebox, this perfectly describes this place. The wife and I both had the turkey sandwich, thick with turkey cut off the bone, cranberry sauce and cheese on your choice of bread. For a slight up-charge add onion rings which were crisp and perfectly cooked. Always ready to measure a breakfast place by its biscuits and gravy I took an order home and was not disappointed. The biscuits are the drop, not yeast type, but hold up well to the gravy which has a great sausage taste. Service was fast and pleasant, but be warned even at 1 PM the place was full, can't image it during busy breakfast hours. It's a great place for a meal or snack before or after wandering the village and visiting stores such as "The Tipsy Duck", "Eastport General Store", "Beyond the Beaten Path", "Eastport's Little Secret" and a rad bicycle shop, Kreb with great folks and a very experienced wrench.
