The most frustratingly inconsistent place. One day the chicken parm tastes fresh and is made exactly how I asked for it (extra sauce) and then the next time, the chicken cutlet is clearly reheated and dry as heck and no extra sauce to be found. Pizza always has a strange burned taste to the bottom and it isn’t the classic char. It just tastes like burned cardboard. Better to go to Caruso’s in Riverhead even though it’s 20 minutes away. At least I can count on the food being consistently delicious.Owners wrote back that I must have them confused with another Pizza joint but no, I am talking about the Michelangelo’s in Eastport in the King Kullen shopping center. I wasn’t asked to give any information but my name when I walked in and ordered the food.

Had a wonderful dinner here a couple nights ago. Their soups are off the chart’s delicious. Calamari crazy good and huge portion. They give you a complimentary delicious homemade bread with butter, olive oil & a tomato spread. Food was delicious. Staff was amazing. Huge portions of delicious food.

Stay away, New owners, had dinner and felt more like a fast food restaurant with paper napkins and no coffee. Nothing wrong with that atmosphere but next time I’ll spend my money at McDonald’s and save a lot of money. Also new owners haven’t got a clue how to run the business and the employees who make the restaurant run smoothly are being abused, demoted, disrespected, and so not appreciated. Save your money and cook at home. Full disclosure: My daughter has worked here 14 yrs and only recently has this business gone in the gutter. Ask any employee and they’ll say the same

Since changing ownership, things seem to have improved greatly. Our pasta dishes were delicious and the portions were enough for three more meals. Our server made us feel most welcome and seemed to value our patronage greatly.

This is my son's new favorite place. We now go every Thursday night before Soccer practice. He loves the BBQ Chicken Slice and I'm a huge fan of the Vodka Slice. They also know how to be generous with their pepperoni!Keep up the great work!

Hello my friends, let me tell you about another awesome find that I had been meaning to get to for quite some time. Michelangelo is an amazing Italian restaurant located in Eastport just off Sunrise Highway eastbound at exit 61 and old Eastport-Manor Rd.We sat in a very lovely dining room with a beautiful bar to sit at and have a drink/food. The staff was so amazing and very attentive to your needs. They start you off with warm Italian bread in a basket with sides of evoo, butter or a fresh tomato spread.Sam was our waiter who gave us great service along with Brianna who was the assistant. As I sat there, I watched how they both were taking care of their tables, never stopped to move, always bringing and taking things from the table. Amazing service. We started with the fried calamari which was delicately seasoned and floured. The plate was loaded up with rings and tentacles of nice size!!!! They were tender and very delicious! Then we got a huge and delicious salad which I didn't expect!!My wife ordered the pasta Cremosa which was a nice portion of part and an abundant of shiny nice large-jumbo shrimp. She asked that the shrimp were not fried and they gladly made it that way, she loved it.I ordered the parmigiana trio which consisted of Veal, Chicken and Shrimp parmigiana!!! It came with a pasta side. First, I loved the huge deep dish that it came on, I wanted to take it home lol! The portion was excellent, 2 nice portions of break and chicken and 2 jumbo shrimp, which I was so surprised to see because it was hidden under the melted cheese!! And I have to say that their sauce was really amazing, the taste of tomatoes in the sauce was delicious!I basically ate half my dish, as well as my wife. We took dinner for the next night home in our portions!I highly recommend Michelangelo. The food is awesome, the ambiance is really nice and warm and the service amazing!!

Edited:Not sure what happened in the last year with this place. The quality of the pizza has gone down hill. Used to be great but now it’s hit and miss.
