My husband had been here years ago and remembered it being really good, so we went there tonight for a fish fry. Boy, was it good!! So many different kinds of fish fries to choose from- as well as sides. The Cole slaw was made with pineapple, like my mom used to make it, and was so yummy! Everything was great- from the meal and brewed, not instant, iced tea; to the homemade caramel apple pie. We ended up bringing our dessert and half of my meal home with us- there was so much food! Prices were fair. Even the price of the pie, which at first shocked me @$5/ slice, wasn't bad after all as it was a HUGE slice of delicious, homemade caramel apple pie ever! Service was great, servers friendly and knowledgeable and the owner came out to check on us more than once!! We tend to like diners vs chain restaurants and I'm sure glad I asked about going to Chaps this time!
