First time having Chinese Indian food and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasted so flavorful and well seasoned. It's definitely a change up if you want something different. The staff were so friendly, we weren't sure what to order and they offered plenty of ideas for us. One thing to note, the food can get quite spicy if you can't handle spice. But it is good it's worth the burn. Space is small so if you want to eat inside, I would suggest coming a bit earlier to get a seat. I would definitely recommend!

Great halal food, lollipop chicken, mango lassi, Indonesian style rice vermicelli. The lamb was good but not my 100% favorite. I would try it once then try other stuff. I recommend this place if you want some spicy delicious curry.

I had a rather unsatisfactory experience with Tangra Masala. Despite ordering from their website, the food I received was not what I expected at all. The discrepancy between what was advertised on the website and what I actually received left me thoroughly disappointed. The quality of the food didn't meet my expectations either. Overall, it was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

This is an Indo-Chinese fusion restaurant, a cuisine that is enjoyed in Indian communities around the world. I went here for lunch with a friend and it was an okay meal, but not great. We had the chilli chicken, chilli tofu, and vegetable pakora as an appetizer. The quantity of food they give is not that big, but their prices are very reasonable. The chicken and tofu dishes were both good. Chilli chicken is made with crispy breaded chicken (similar in texture to sesame chicken) covered in a spicy sauce. The meat here was fairly moist. The chilli sauce they used for the chicken and tofu was the same and is fairly spicy - definitely not for those who can't handle spice. The vegetable pankora was very bad though. It was very hard and dry and was obviously old and microwaved.

I’m shocked I haven’t reviewed this spot before. I love, love, LOVE this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for what seems like over ten years, but have only recently re-discovered it as I live in Manhattan and just don’t get to Queens as often anymore. It’s worth the trip. Every single time I visit I have been satisfied and filled up with delicious food. I usually get chili tofu and pakoras but I also get sizzling chili with tofu and vegetables. The only thing that wasn’t AMAZING was the hot and sour soup, it was overwhelmed by cilantro. But I highly recommend this place for vegetarian Indo-Chinese cuisine.Vegetarian options: Chili tofu, veggie soups and appetizers, plenty of options.
