If i could i would give this place 0 stars. The food was horrible. I ordered kebabs and chicken biryani. The rice and chicken in the biryani were still frozen and the kebabs were watery. There is no quality in the food. This place needs proper cooks or they should shut down. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Maybe one of the worst experiences I had trying to have this vendor to be caterer. He took a $1,000 deposit and in return was supposed to come a check out the venue but he never showed up. When I reached out to him to return the money he claimed he hired people to come to work at my wedding as waiters, when I insisted on okay fine bring the waiters so I cancelled my own waiters and GUESS WHAT THEY NEVER SHOWED!!!!. Horrible people and service

It's a nice little cozy place in the heart of Elmont. We visited Texas Chicken earlier in the day and decided to give this restaurant a try as they were very close to each other. Debussy playing in background along with fine dining definitely needs to be appreciated. We started with appetizers followed by main course and ended with rounds of fresh Lussy. Chaat papri and chicken tenders were reasonable. In main course, we ordered Chapli Kabab, Beef Nihari, Chicken Karahi, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, salad and Butter Chicken. In drinks we ordered Mango Lassy, Strawberry Lassy, Mixed Berry Lassy and Sprite-Berry Lassy. All items were prepared with close thought and attentiveness. We loved their Naan, Chapli Kabab, Beef Nihari and chicken Karahi. Lassis were astounding and filled us up swiftly with no more space for Falooda.Owner Lady was very helpful and deserves 5 stars for her hospitality. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. I will be back for my Falooda.

I went to this place after reading reviews which are not bad for a place that opened six months ago. The food looks like it’s made by someone who cooked it for the first time and it’s run by a bunch of kids who are experimenting their cookery lessons. The food was absolutely tasteless and not fully cooked. If this place stays like this I don’t see them stay in business for long.

Stumbled on this lovely Pakistani place while out looking for a bite. Incredible hospitality from both the server and the owner. Beautifully decorated in peaches and coral with traditional Pakistani accents. Great for date night or a nice eat-in desi cuisine.Price is affordable starting at $10 a plate. Portions are large and flavors are on point. We ordered delicious naan, creamy Kolachi Butter Chicken, and a proper Kolachi Beef Shish Platter. Their mixed doodh chai had your typical hints of cloves and desi spices. If you’re looking to fill your desi appetite in a well-decorated place, pay a visit!Kolachi Restaurant20 Meacham Ave, Elmont, NY 11003

What a great experience with amazing food! The owner Was super warm and welcoming. She took the time to explain what any dish on the menu we were not familiar with. We had several dishes. The garlic Naan was fresh, soft and amazing. May have been the best one i've had. The goat Kalahari (spelling may be off. Apologies). Everything was superb. We found the one server on hand charming and funny. The rapport between employee and employer was warm. We will visit again.

We’ve been to 47 out of 50 states and trust me when I say that this is arguably the The newest and the best Pakistani restaurant in NYC. If Nehari, Chapli kabab, Biryani and Proper Chicken karrhai is your jam then this is the place to go for you! A must go!!

The butter chicken hardly had any meat and did not taste good. The chicken karahi tasted good. The place took a really long time to prepare the order. We had placed our order before a few families and received our order after they received theirs. I am highly disappointed. The chai (milk tea) tasted watered down. I will not be returning to this place.

Was excited to try this place after hearing good and some mixed reviews. Left this place HIGHLY disappointed. Butter chicken was pure masala, there was literally maybe 1 chicken chunk that was probably broken up into 5-6 skinny small pieces to make it look like botis! The chicken karahi was ok, the naans were good. The restaurant was pretty tight, lights were off, service was extremely slow and food took a while to come out despite us being the only ones there. We left hungry and unsatisfied. Will not be back here again.

Wow all this hyped up reviews about it being good. I will start off what I ordered : 6 garlic nan Chicken Karachi curry full size 2 chappli kebabs 2 chicken leg kebabs 1 chicken breast kebab Money$ 90 The nan was okay. The famous chicken Karachi I order full size and they charge $6 extra total $16 for tiny bit of curry. I felt cheated. The take out tray was half full only. The taste of this curry was such bad quality chicken. No one in my family ate the chicken pieces. Even my dad refused to have piece of chicken after tasting it and he eats everything saying it's great. All this people saying this Karachi chicken is great must be their friends. It was the worst part of the order. The chappli kebab was ok nothing I would not come back for. The chicken leg was ok. The chicken breast was bland. None of the food is memorable. You can get better kebab a lot place around New Hyde park like Afghan Grill which will be same money and I will get more meat kebabs per dish. About the quantity you a lot of rice with kebabs but only one chicken leg. I have a ton of rice leftover with no kebabs. The nan is really big but it's dry and not soft and my children couldn't even chew it. Anyway I fell for the hype of Yelp reviews and I didn't want anymore unsuspecting people to fall like that. I wasted $90 dollars on this place, never again. Ps I ordered 5 kebabs and they gave me 3 white sauces filled half only and 3 green sauce. I noticed and asked for more sauce he counted exactly two more white sauce gave. Didn't even bother with the green sauce. I reminded about sauces on phone and he said they don't even come sauces. Like he was doing me a favor. Which kebabs don't come with white sauce ? I don't know. Not going back.

Authentic Pakistani Restaurant in NYC. Kolachi is a wonderful halal Pakistani restaurant (reminds me of Kolachi from Karachi). The food is phenomenal and reminded me of food from my Karachi. I love their Chicken Karahi and Chicken zinger burger. Their Garlic naan and the Chicken seekh kabob was good too . Have to get the salty lassi - super refreshing and healthy. All the food was reasonably priced and decent size. The service is amazing... quick and efficient. The auntie who owns the restaurant she is extremely polite and really works hard . Overall we had a great time at Kolachi I would definitely recommend this place.
