Nice brewery with large space to accompany bigger parties. The beers are all very good. They have a wide variety of food to choose from: pizza, pretzels, burgers, hummus, etc. In addition to beer they also serve wine. Ample parking in the back. Not sure why they cater to children -little kids running throughout the place.

I’ve been to Captain Lawrence a few times now and it’s consistently good. We first started coming here during the pandemic trying to help out small businesses and ordering from their takeout menu. Since then we’ve been back several times for warm sunny days outside, cold days inside, Oktoberfest in the back room, and more. Each time has been pretty good but always has something missing! A few times we’ve had issues with servers being unfriendly or unresponsive, a few times I haven’t loved my food but this time was probably the best! Our server was pretty friendly, it wasn’t too crowded (and wow does it get crowded!). We came at like 4 on a Friday (I wish they had some happy hour specials!) and they already had spaces reserved for 6 that we couldn’t sit at. I thought it was a bit early but by 5 the place was getting quite packed. We ordered the pizza and fries to eat. I got the pizza with no Moz as usual (can’t eat it) and asked for a little extra sauce on that side since it sometimes gets a little dry with no cheese. They didn’t do that for me which was unfortunate, but it still tasted fine. The fries were nice and crispy but they were wayyy too salty for me. I ordered the vodka pink lemonade (in a can) and it was delicious. My bf got 2 beers and said they were both good! Overall, this place is good and I’d come back!

I quite enjoyed the food here. The Nashville chicken sandwich was delicious. One of those kinds of sandwiches that is so messy and big that it falls apart if you put it down in a good way!! The people I was with also enjoyed their food. They had a big beer selection. Additionally they had cider, canned mix drinks, and vodka and whiskey. The vibe was a brewery vibe. A few to many children on a Saturday for my liking but oddly enough all the children were so well behaved I didn't notice them to much. There is outside seating too for nice days.

The place is huge, lousy and very impersonal.The beer is good and you have several options. The pizzas are very good too.The service is slow but friendly.But one thing that really bothers is the fact that the sound in the place is not well planned, setup and distributed which makes the noise floor level insane to hang out and have a nice chat or conversation with your friends or partners without having to yell at all times. They have this two small speakers cranked to the highest volume possible expecting that those little guys can provide sound to the entire place and that’s wrong. Please add 6 to 8 more speakers, evenly distribute them around the venue and lower the sound volume. You will end up having less sound pressure level in the room, better quality and more distribution. And those speakers can also serve the music events that happens there. That’s my humble recommendation.

This place is awesome. They have a great selection of bar food. The beers are great with a great rotation of their own beers. They also have a few options for mixed drinks, wine, hard seltzers and cocktails. It looks a bit odd when you're going into the area because it looks like a commercial space/ warehouse rather then a place with for and drinks. In general this place is a win. I always need to remember to bring my brother to bring some home but they do fill up crowlers and sell cans to go.

Talk about busy! This appears to be the happening spot on a Sat night. One thing that's pretty cool is that they allow kids in here. Not sure if there's a cut off time when it becomes adults only but I'm sure there is. Anyways, pizza. When it comes to food that's what they appear to be about and I'd have to say they do it well. We got the sausage pizza, one size only, price is decent for what you get. It's a good pizza and more filling than I though when I first saw it. We also got the kids chicken fingers for the nephew. I will say that their kids serving was quite large. We pay much all ended up eating from it.Next, the beer. I'm down with this places beer. I only got one pint and it was the Autumn Blaze. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. I'm a sucker for pumpkin beers and though this was one of the most didn't pumpkin flavors in a pumpkin beer I've had, and I mean subtle, it was a well rounded beer. I honestly wanted a second it to definitely taste what else they had to offer but just didn't have the time. I saw a super hazy on the list and was torn between the two b/c I love me a hazy as well.Seating in this place is aight. It's seat yourself. There's hella picnic table style seating like Oktoberfest but when you start getting more and more larger ppl in there the ability to get around diminishes pretty quickly. It is loud in there and I do mean loud. At times it was difficult to hold a conversion across the table. They have hella tv's. Gotta order everything at the bar and pickup your food yourself which is when that comment about it being difficult to maneuver comes in play. But everyone was nice and would move when you yelled "excuse me!" There appeared to be a whole other section for searing that seemed like it would of been a a lot quieter but it was taken up by a private party so we sat in the zoo.Service is quick. Our food was ready within minutes of ordering. They are fast and efficient. Definitely want to come back to try more of their beers and pizzas.

Captain Lawrence made a special day feel EXTRA special. We had a party of 30 people and were in the main room, which was amazing because they were playing live music. But we got surprised with a private party in the new speakeasy, which has its own private bar/bartender, private bathrooms, and DJ set for music. Shout out to Alex for the phenomenal cocktails (and beer was great too)! The food was delicious and service was impeccable! Mike, the manager was so kind and attentive. We felt very loved and respected throughout our party. Thank you to all the CL staff members for making this a memorable experience! I am beyond grateful to have chosen Captain Lawrence for my engagement party. Highly recommend!!

Amazing experience throwing a party at Captain Lawrence Brewery. We worked with Emily and she was extremely responsive, helpful and organized. Our day-of contact was Jean and he could not have been better. Our guests all commented how great he was, very helpful with all of our guests allergies and was available throughout the party without getting in the way. He was so kind and got creative on the layout when we had to move inside because of rain. Trina the bartender was also great, very helpful and accommodating. We hope to have future events with this amazing group! The food and drinks were awesome but the staff really made the difference!
