Shiraz is still the yet to be discovered and immensely enjoyed in White Plains and the NY suburb Tri-States. . Whether it is for weekday lunch or dinner, a couple sublimed drinks or the Sushi bar, or the more elaborate weekend family eats or gatherings and live “Jazzy JAZX” music , or be it at times a most exquisite private party and surreal ambiance, Shiraz has already become a fine cuisine destination which the patrons take pride In experiencing and regularly returning to great times….great food drink quality ingredients, excellent service, receptive to patrons’ suggestions, and with convenient location in the heart of vibrant white plains, there is no need to travel long to enjoy a most sublimed culinary experience.

PRECOOKED MEAT! I absolutely love going to restaurants (especially those that open after our pandemic) and reviewing how great popular dishes are from the cultures represented in the establishments. I had the beef soultani and the beef kabob, both lacked flavor and I even noticed one side was cooked more than the other. Both plates had very dry and unsalted taste to both meats.

Tasty dips are highly recommended. Felt like we waited a little long at times, but host was quite gracious. Saffron ice cream is out of this world.

Two friends and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last night. The restaurant is lovely, with nice background music, and a relaxing, but elegant, feel. They have a delightful cocktail menu of original and delicious options that use ingredients and seasonings appropriate to the Persian cuisine. We ordered cocktails we'd never seen before and much enjoyed them. The wine list is extensive for a small restaurant with a fairly limited menu. But the menu is enticing, with more dinner options than appear on the online version. We shared 2 appetizers and 1 small plate, every dish delicious. Accompanying homemade pita is great. My friends ordered beef stew and vegetable stew entrees. I had an unusual dish of zucchini hummus, with olives, pickled onions, walnuts and other, with pita. All of our entrees were very good. We shared the 3-piece baclava dessert. Service could not have been more welcoming or attentive. The woman tending to our table must be a manager... she was so warm and hospitable. We look forward to returning soon.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate vegan and gluten free, indicated on the menu.

the food and environment is great, but... the service is absolutely atrocious. this was my second time here, first time just for some drinks, went out for dinner with my wife and we were both incredibly disappointed. It's not acceptable... especially from a Michelin awarded Restaurant. Food was totally forgotten on numerous accounts. Took almost an hour and a half for 6 pieces of sushi.

I am writing this to inform the manager so that it does not affect English speaking customers. Sir, don't you think that for an order of 150 dollars you could have at least put a salad or shallot yogurt, and at 12 o'clock I was told that we don't have the bottom of the pot, that is, an hour after the start of work. After 45 minutes of driving, I did not expect this service at all. I would like to come back again, but unfortunately it won't happen.

This place definitely has ambience and the staff were nice, but don’t waste your money on the food. The individual who waited on us was extremely jovial, but he kept coercing us to order more food. We just wanted two entrees but the waiter made it sound like there may not be enough food, or that we’d be waiting a while for the food to come out, so we should get something to tide us over … it was a confusing exchange but I begrudgingly agreed to get a chicken sushi roll to start, then lamb shank, and a shandiz platter (grilled chicken and lamb chop with rice, salad, and fries).1.) chicken roll - the tempura chicken was burnt and the roll was in itself tasteless2.) shandiz platter - neither the chicken, nor the lamb, nor the rice, were seasoned. It looked like it came with some kind of green sauce … no flavor there either. We also didn’t get any of our salad or fries, and because we were shocked by how flavorless the food was, we didn’t bother asking!3.) lamb shank - the only dish that contained salt. The shank was cooked well and the meat was falling off the bone. The rice (bhagali pulao) left a lot (of salt and flavor) to be desired … the fava beans in the rice tasted undercooked. The food was so bad that I had to cook my daughter another meal at home since she wouldn’t take a second bite of anything on the table.

We went for a birthday celebration the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful unfortunately the food did not reach our expectations. The tenderness of the meat was great but extremely bland. We were all so confused bc we read the reviews prior to reserving. Our appetizer never came out the service was super slow. The server Ramon was sarcastic, and constantly messing up the orders with out any care. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

This is the best restaurant in White Plains. The food is always fresh and delicious. Amazing hospitality and atmosphere. Side note: Freshest sushi in Westchester hands down. Seems odd but its true.

Terrible, slow and forgetful service. Honestly worst service I have experienced in a long time. Lambchop was fatty and tough. Branzino was delicious. Ambiance was nice and wine list was good. But. There are MUCH better places to patronize in white plains. Go ANYPLACE else, we will never be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiraz restaurant and I must say, it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly at a cozy table. And the best part of it all was ADILA, the server. She is exceptional.

The owner is a real class act. An elegant Iranian man with a superior dedication to delivering authentic elevated Persian cuisine. It’s so chic, modern, comfortable and delicious. The appetizer of an herb salad is spectacular. The sushi chef is spectacular as well. I love this place! I’ve been all over the world and eaten in great places. I’m a closet chef and can clearly state that this is a keeper in White Plains and beyond. Eat here! You will be pleased.
