If you're looking for Great food and Excellent Service in the Rochester N.Y. Area. Be sure to check out McArtle's, a family owned restaurant in the Fairborn area. They make excellent cocktails and we enjoyed a delicious dinner of Prime Rib and Beef tenderloins with bay scallops. The service is great and John the owner, personally delivered our food and did a follow up to make sure everything was first rate. They have a robot server named "Rosie" that assists the servers by bringing your food to the table for your server to serve you. This works great as it allows the server to spend more time serving the customers and avoids those large trays that clutter up the aisle ways in some restaurants. It's also a great conversation piece and it shows off the food as it passes your table. Everything looks great. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the beef tenderloin was so tender you didn't need a knife. The Chicken French was also very good. The Haddock was perfectly cooked and they went the extra mile to handle our special carrots request. Our party of seven were very pleased. The also have excellent menu items for the Vegan members of the family The tall wooden booths give you the" Irish Tavern "feel while allowing you to be able to carry on a conversation at your table. The portions are generous and fairly priced. We didn't try dessert as we were comfortably full. But the desserts that went by looked yummy. Service was great, they make you feel welcome And want you to come back. (You can join their loyalty program for additional savings.) The restaurant is very accessible allowing seniors to get in easily.

We wanted to go to an Irish pub and the one we wanted to go to was over booked. We chose this since we had heard it was pretty good. Unfortunately, my beef tenderloin tips in gravy were supposed to be medium rare and I had to search to find any pink in any of the pieces. And the gravy was so salty I couldn't even finish it. And I love salt! The mashed potatoes were cold. The Guinness that I and my dinner mate ordered was stale and bitter. I couldn't even drink mine . I know I can compare that because I just had the most wonderful Guinness on tap four days prior in Utica at Five Points Pub. The fish fry, other than the cold mashed potatoes was good. The brownie dessert had a stiff and dry brownie. The Irish bread pudding came out as a lump that I think was muffin shaped and was very dry and we couldn't finish. And the "Irish" apple pie came out in a tiny thin dish and was significantly dry and overcooked.In addition, for an Irish pub they were playing either no music or classical music. Being that this is the week prior to St. Patrick's Day, I would have thought that they would "have their Irish on"!And they have these little robots to bring the food to us, which I'd seen at Disney world 20 years ago and was not impressed. I would have hoped they spent more time checking their Guinness tap to see that it's not drinkable and/or on making food that was more palatable.Overall, I was very disappointed. And the prices were quite high for the lack of quality of food.
Nice little restaurant. I didn't think there was anything stand out about it. I've been here few times, it's close to work and convenient. I usually get the Reuben and Arnold Palmer. It's got robot, that's kind of neat.

Great atmosphere, superb menu selection and fantastic service by the staff and owner. We have frequented the restaurant for well over a decade, and never been disappointed in our meal selection. One of the unique qualities, that the owner John has, and we love and appreciate. Is his personal attention to detail. He visits each patrons table, and will greet them, and ask them about their meal, and how they have been. We had an awesome meal here on a Saturday night in January 2024. We split the Chicken French and Salmon. Each was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Suggest reservations since it was quite crowded, but we were seated almost immediately and the owner was there checking on our satisfaction.
