Food and drinks were excellent. They've got a cool spot here. My only complaint is the service leaves something to be desired. I had reservations (for two on a Wednesday) and we stood at the front podium for a good 5-8 minutes before anyone even stopped over to check on people waiting. There were people waiting longer than us too. Table wasn't ready despite reservations and it now being 15-20 minutes after the reservations were for.But we got seated. People were very helpful and pleasant once we got to our table. The pizzas were above average in quality. We really enjoyed the two we had. The fried cheese curds were fantastic too.Good beer selection too. They have a solid outdoor space when the weather gets better. Hopefully they are better staffed by the time it's warm though.

It was our 3rd time here. Clean, friendly and inviting environment. Had the fish fry first time and it was huge and one of the best I had to include the coleslaw! We went next on a weekday with my son and the food was again amazing. The third time we went on a Friday for fish fries during march madness. Waited about 5 minutes without a reservation (do get one), no fluke best fish fry in town- wife had battered and I had breaded. Will be regulars here!

Had a great time stopping in before our nearby bowling league. Great service, quick turnaround. They have a whole bar for craft brewing! Poutine was so good.

The food was good, the service was excellent, love the front patio. I little loud and difficult to carry on a conversation, perhaps lowering the music volume and some noise reduction measures like wall fabrics would help there.

My recent visit to the Underpass left me disappointed, particularly with their pricing strategy. The "house burger" priced at $19 was a letdown, and overpriced for what it offered—just a basic patty with minimal toppings. While I've enjoyed dining at the Underpass in the past, it's disheartening to see them gradually increasing their prices without corresponding improvements in quality or offerings. It feels like they're out of touch with the financial constraints many customers face. While I wouldn't say it was a terrible experience, the value for money definitely wasn't there. I hope they reconsider their pricing approach to maintain their reputation as a reasonably priced dining option in the area.

Has become one of my A-list restaurants in town. Food and service has been excellent. Great food menu and craft beer selections on tap. Plus plenty of parking unlike when I go into the village where parking has become a major hassle.

This place is cool ! A lil over priced in my opinion. Slow service on a Saturday afternoon that wasn't very busy . The brussel sprout appetizer was awesome, but that's about it!

What a surprise this place is! I had fairly low expectations, for whatever reason. Based on the outside of the building, it looked like it would be tiny and dark. But the place is very large, bright, welcoming, and clean. The service was excellent, beer and wine selection was expansive, and the food was fresh and well prepared. We had no idea what a great spot this was- we've passed by it hundreds of times without giving it a second thought. So glad we finally tried it! We'll be back for sure.

They flame grill their burgers. So. Much. Better. Than flattop. Under new management and servers seem happier.

I'm visiting my family and I'm from out of town. My brother mentioned that we should go to the Underpass Bar. He called and was able to get a reservation for 10 on a Friday night with only a few hours' notice! That was the first thing that impressed me about this establishment. When we got there, there was a lovely gas fire pit burning outside on the patio. Perfect for bringing people. When we got inside, the bar was 90% full. I asked about happy hour specials and if so was it only offered at the bar, the hostesses said "everyone gets specials." Perfect answer. We were immediately seated even though our whole party was not there. It wasn't that busy at 5:15 and our waitreas came over and took our drink orders. I was impressed with the menu of draft beers and variety. (Sours, brown ale, stout, porter, lagers, IPA). Ans the prices were more than fair. The rest of our party showed up at 5:30-our requested time. Again, the waitress came around and took drink orders. Once the drinks were served, she asked if everyone was read to order and we were. We ordered appetizers', soups, and main courses all once. While waiting for food, I noticed that they have a Touchtunes system and went and made a playlist of preferred songs. Shortly after that, the appetizers and my soup came out. there was a big variety. We had the saracha Cauliflower wings, Fried cheese curds, Pretzel with beer cheese, and the new england clam chowder. Everything tasted great. My only issue was the temperature of the food. It was like the food had been waiting to get picked up was not hot. When our dinners finally came, they were timely. The burgers were huge and a really good portion of fries came with them. 2 broiled haddock dinners were ordered, but they were luke warm. They had a good taste, but the temperature was not proper. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food there were no complaints other than the temperature. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the dinner was for 10 people with appetizers, and beverages. The meal came under four hundred dollars with tip and tax included. I would definitely go back to the restaurant. By the time we received our food, the whole dining space up top and below were filled and I could see why. This is a good family spot to go to and probably later in the night. A good spot to join your friends. The outdoor area was very homie. It was covered, they had corn hole and that large fire pit.

Horrible experience from the minute we walked in the door. As one other reviewer stated, we were greeted by Cruella Deville. The hostess was rude an unaccommodating. There were several empty tables in the more desirable areas of the restaurant. When asked to be seated at one, was told they were reserved. I then found out the only way to reserve is on-line. I then inquired as to how I can specify a particular table on-line and was told that I couldn't. I was told "the restaurant can decide where to seat you " It then became apparent that because we were not "preferred customers" or better yet "friends of Cruella" that we would be sitting in the back , much less desirable location. HOW OBVIUOS! Who do they think they are making us feel like second class citizens? For goodness sakes, this is a bar pub. As a courtesy to our friends, we stayed long enough for them to arrive. While there, were told by others that this hostess is very rude and condescending. Upon leaving, I asked for the manager, and low and behold, it was Cruella! Good luck. The food ain't worth it!
