“Amazing place!!! Enough said lol“

“Stopped in for lunch yesterday with Aimee and Julia, and we also needed a stable Internet connection for a conference call. We were there about 3pm, so it was empty. The waiter/cook was there solo and very engaging. We started out with line margaritas on the rocks (delish) and nachos supreme, which came with chicken and taco meat, and he had put extra chicken sauce on it; came with guac and lettuce. Julia had the special fajita with steak; outstanding, cooked perfectly, tons of steak and shrimp. Aimee had the poblano peppers wrapped in egg; she said it was delicious. After discussion of the carnitas, he asked me what I usually ordered; when I said chile verde he said he could create that. It was some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend - we will be back for sure!“

“Really great food at good prices. If you're looking for a huge plate of food, this is your kind of place (Go ahead, I dare you to order mac and cheese). I've tried many/most of the menu items in the past year and can honestly say that Steener's is the most reliably good restaurant in the area. And that is the best endorsement that I can give any restaurant. The servers are prompt and friendly. Food comes out of the kitchen in a reasonable amount of time and the sequencing between appetizers and meals is perfect. The flavors are typically bold and on point. On the negative side, it can be loud inside when it's full, but that is not uncommon in any restaurant. And my biggest concern is that there isn't enough parking. However, these are minor things compared to how excellent this place is overall.“

“Depending on what you order the food is wonderful. Sometimes the ham is a bit dry or the chicken in your salad can be less than appetizing. I prefer grilled chicken but anytime I've ordered it on my salad it's been awful. I'm not sure if they put the less preferred so now I just order the fried chicken to make sure it's fresh.“
