“We tried the All American Wontons truck in Levittown yesterday. We ordered the buffalo chicken, honey bbq chicken, bacon mac & cheese, Philly cheesesteak, and the banana Nutella. All the wontons were so good, but my favorite was the Philly cheesesteak and banana Nutella This food truck is a must try.“
“The Halal Guys is a place that I first visited in the city at one of their street carts.I was amazed by their efficiency and popularity. As there were usually lines 5 people or more. Service was still very quick and there was another one of the Halal Guys cart across the street. The Halal guys make a more refined and unique type of food. With their signature white sauce and extra spicy hot sauce. The spiced Beef (not lamb) and chicken is also more flavorful than others too. They offer small and regular sized platters where the small is a typical halal sized platter and regular can be eaten in 2 servings especially if extra meat is ordered. The brick and mortar locations on Long Island are more expensive than the cart. But that is to be expected. There is parking, dinning room, bathroom, and more food and drink options to choose from.We love that there is a Halal Guys close to home and prefer them over other halal options in the area.“
“Food is great! Already been there a few times with my boyfriend. Definitely becoming one of our favorite places to go. We keep forgetting to take pictures of our food though ?. The hippie chicken is the best thing on their menu in my opinion. The owner John( I think that’s his name, I’m terrible with names though) is very nice, approachable, knowledgeable.“
“Food Nation Generation catered my party and they were great! Graham was so nice and easy to work with and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Everything from presentation to taste was spot on! We can’t wait to invite them back to cater our next event. Keep up the great work!!!“
“Great pies from Nico's. Very impressed. Went in for a few IPAs from Root and Branch and tried a pie from Nico's. Absolutely delicious. Great char on the pie. Added a little hot honey. Was really good. Would recommend coming here for the pizza even if you're not into IPA beer. Yes it was that good. By the train tracks in Copiague“
“When I say this woman goes out of her way to make her customers happy, it’s an understatement. We hired Chrissa for a large backyard party. The food was delicious. She made sure we had everything we needed. The staff on the truck was kind and efficient. She tailored the menu to exactly what we wanted. I cant recommend her enough.“
“Stopped by here today for the first time, had the steak sandwich and some of the empanadas which was a special for the day Guy working the truck counter was friendly and accommodating (had a small dietary preference) Steak sandwich was top notch, made a bit different with chunkier slices of steak that have more of a bite than usual. Will definitely get more of these! Empanadas were also surprisingly good. Since Ive only been once i can only speak to my small experience and menu choice, but already plan to go again sometime soon.“
“I had the pleasure today to have/eat at "Demi's spot" food truck in Yaphank . I was so impressed with the food (was amazing ) and the service was even better . I HIGHLY recommend anyone to make Demi's place their Food truck choice You will not go wrong ! VinnyB“
“Delicious vegan donuts! Staff working the counter are always friendly, and quick to serve. Flavors rotate, but I believe the donuts are all made from the same base, then topped differently. Chocolate covered strawberry is not one to miss !Dietary restrictions: Vegan donuts! Sometimes offering gluten free as well I believe“
“The food was amazingly delicious and authentic. The carnitas was nice and fatty and flavorful. What I didn't like was mostly the "no price posted because it can change" policy. There were no prices on the menu. I was told " $12 for 3 tacos and soda."". Then, when I was paying for my food, I was told soda was not included. I had to wonder if they had a different price for me because I didn't speak Spanish. The surroundings also were not the cleanest. Sidewalk was covered with dirt and debris, and the food truck was between an auto shop and a laundramat.“
“Super team and a great family! Dom and his son’s run a tight ship with a great menu. It’s not you’re typical food truck. They have an extensive menu from soup to philly cheesesteaks, cubans, chicken cutlet heroes, pastas and on and on.Try the chicken bomber or on Friday the shrimp po’boy sandwich. They also offer premade home dinners to take home. Call ahead because they make everything fresh“
