Long wait time, before you are seated wait time not good due to indifferent and unfriendly hostess. Poorly managed time frames are provided, waited over 2 hrs. For a table of 6, once the table was ready had to wait another 20 minutes for table to be cleaned. Once you are seated everything changes to the better. Food and service is good.

Went over to Longhorn Steakhouse in farmingdale. Staff were welcoming and nice. Had to wait a bit for our food but well worth the wait in the end. BBQ Baby Back Ribs were great and everyone on the table liked what they ordered. The shrimps for the appetizer were very good.

Our first time there and we will definitely be back. The food was amazing, I usually don't get steak for dinner but I was happy I did, just that the french fries was too salty for our liking. Although the wait time was 1 hour and 45 minutes, the food came out fairly quick and was delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant even though she was very busy. We were too hungry to take pictures.

The place is decorated very nicely as always. It reminds you of a rustic ranch in Montana with paintings of beautiful horses. The service was very poor. Our waiter was very nice but not great at the service industry game. We sat down, and no one came over for atleast 8 minutes which doesn't sound like a long time but when you're hungry and thirsty that feels like forever. We finally ordered and got our drinks but had no silverware. That took a while to get also...for some reason. The table we sat in was close to the bar and the female bartender was very loud with some banter with the male bartender as if she was in her own personal space, not a public restaurant/place of business. Was a little bizarre. Lol. The salad was a strawberry pecan salad which was pretty good except its more of a summer salad so the strawberries weren't very ripe or red. The filet mignon I ordered "Pittsburgh" otherwise known as "black and blue" which is charred on the outside, rare in the center but that came overcooked. The bread was unusually hard... The Brussel sprouts with honey were delicious as always. Didn't order dessert. All in all a decent meal when we finally got our food! I guess it depends who your server is to insure a successful and enjoyable experience ? ? ?Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: You can bring kids. Why not. Sure...

Pretty depressing, the restaurant was empty and the host just stood there and acted like she was doing something ignoring us, probably just being racist. When she finally looked up she gave us a horrible attitude. The food took a while and it was ok, The atmosphere, well, it looked dark and depressing but that's how all long horn restaurants are, I should know I'm from Texas, but the flies.constantly getting on your face is what really got me. So for racist, slow, and insect packed this is what I give it. I should have just walked out but I was hungry.

We have a love hate relationship with Longhorns. The food is usually very good, especially their steakhouse wings. But the service there really leaves a lot to be desired and in some cases, is downright awful. There have been times in which we walked into the place and there was no host to greet us at the podium. We'd wait and wait and wait and others would be waiting too until someone would finally greet us and take our names for the waitlist. And, the actual servers seem to be poorly trained and are not that attentive at all. We were there this last Saturday, and our waiter was struggling to do the bare minimum. We had to wait long times for drink refills and he never came by to ask us how we were doing or remove dirty dishes and cups from our table and he seemed annoyed that I had to flag him down to refill our drinks. I can't see us going back there any time in the foreseeable future. We can go to Outback and Texas Roadhouse if we want a steak dinner which is unfortunate because the food is good. But, the wait staff and hosts give me no choice but to leave a poor rating. Hopefully management sees this review and works to make the necessary fixes and changes.

The service was horrible. Ordered 3 different dinners they all came out wrong not mentioning it took over 30 minutes for it to come out. Would not recommend this long horn. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had.
