Came here after an event at the royal palm to have a drink with me and 2 of my friends. Walked in was asked yooooo you guys gay!? Which we just replied nah we are straight. The bartender asked for ID and denied my friend for no reason. Couldn't imagine a gay person getting kicked out of a bar for being gay, but if ur straight at a gay bar it's perfectly fine. Gotta love the double standard. This isn't a bar this is some type of strange hookup place so don't expect to come here and have a drink

Love this place. I don't drink, and even for me as a teetotaler, it is always a warm, inviting, and comfortable space that is low on attitude and big on fun. Karaoke nights with Dennis (first Saturday of the month typically) are an absolute blast!

Super friendly and welcoming bar, it actually might officially be the only gay bar on Long Island! & it’s standing strong. Staff is super kindly, especially the bartender ( James ) super sweet guy and always makes me feel welcomed.

Me and all my friends from the 90's frequented Blanche's for a few decades.. such an awesome Bar.I visited Nu Bar this past weekend with a great friend.I've gotta say, it was 100% an outstanding atmosphere.. wonderful staff, music was awesome, the customers were so very nice.I'll definitely visit Nu Bar again when I travel to Long Island.Thank you for such a wonderful time.

I went last night and it happened to be karaoke night, the whole crowd was hyping me up! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time with cheap drinks and good music. There's also a nice courtyard outside to sit and talk.
