I wanted to stop by and try this place instead of going to South Main St Deli, for a change, since they are both near my physical therapist. But this is exactly why I check the reviews. Most recent reviews aren’t exactly in favor of this place but the kicker is the picture with the moldy apple pie crust. Seriously??? What food establishment sells moldy food? That’s what told me that this establishment doesn’t sell fresh food. I will stick with South Main St.

Great place to go for breakfast and lunch. The egg sandwiches were good, just wish they asked how much ketchup to put on. All in all, definitely worth the visit.Parking: It's a small lot behind the establishment. You can probably park in the street nearby as well if it's too crowded.

I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap on spinach wrap. AND IT WAS BROUGHT BACK FOR A REFUNDWhat they call a spinach wrap was not, chicken was over cooked and dried out not fresh at all, lettuce was almost see threw like it was frozen, was not rolled like a wrap more like bunched up in a ball. Completely fell apart as soon as paper came off. Will never go back there again. What a disgrace. It's a shame because I heard this place was amazing before new owners took over.

Made my sandwich with the wrong protein. Not only were they unapologetic when I went back, the woman at the counter actually blamed ME for not checking it before I left. This wasn't the first time they messed up an order either.Sadly, Pete's isn't what it used to be in quality or service.

Great food selection. Much of it is redone and the rest is underway, but the food is the best reason to go. Reminds me of the original Pete... many years ago.

This place has always been amazing. The food quality is exceptional. Their catering hero’s are amazing and the price is just right. The workers there are always pleasant when you walk in and know you by your name when you walk in. Maureen is the best worker there, she is always so nice when i walk in there.The new owners are outstanding. I would recommend this deli to anyone!

This place is just downright disgusting! The new ownership ruined this staple in Farmingdale! They put out food that is obviously DAYS OLD! I ordered a standard bacon egg (over easy$ and cheese. My eggs were way over cooked. When I told them I got an attitude and grabbed my sandwich, threw it out and made a new one. They precut all cold cuts so that's also not fresh! The back room where they used to have tables to eat is a complete disaster! Filthy bathroom. I will never go back here again. I'd much rather go to Main Street Deli up the block and get better quality food and better service.The only good thing about this place is Jesus!
This was the deli you went to for a great breakfast, lunch, or catering. Sad to see how things have changed. This deli always had owners that new you by your name, and if it wasn't for 1 or 2 leftover workers from old regime I wouldn't go there at all.

New owners who took a great established place and ran it down the tubes. Hubby used to pick up a sandwich daily on the way to work. It has been wrong and incorrect ever since new owners took over. Also the prices do not represent the quantity or quality. We will never be back again.
