What a fantastic find on our visit to the Island this weekend. Fast service, friendly staff, perfect bagels and hot coffee. Enough seating for all their customers and a great array of spreads and menu items. So glad we stopped in!

My father and I go here either Saturday or Sunday every week and everyone is so kind to us. One little suggestion (being that I've worked in restaurants my whole adult life). Add a gratuity option on the paper receipt. We're tippers but sometimes don't have cash. We balance it out but still...

Got a dozen to take home and glad I did. First time trying them and I'd get again. They were large and soft like my wife likes - I prefer firmer, but they were very good. Toasted well and made good cheese and lox on a bagel. A young man helped me and was pleasant and polite.

I worked at this bagel place 21 years ago as my first job when I was 13. The food and service were much better then, in fact the food and service were so much better then that it is almost impossible to compare the two fairly because the quality has dropped so far down its in an entirely different atmosphere. The service here is atrocious, the staff is often beyond rude and that is when they're mentally present at all, as when they're not being rude they're so spaced out you can actually stand at the register for minutes without being acknowledged or helped. Incompetency is another aspect in which this establishment excels. Another reason I come here less, and less, and will now stop coming, is that the order is always wrong as well. Something as simple as a ham, egg and cheese should not be made incorrectly, and yet every time I order, no matter what I order, something is not correct. And, lastly what makes the previous point so egregious is the prices they charge. One of the most expensive bagel places on the entire island without any good reason to even still be open. Whoever the new ownership is should be embarrassed about the shop they are now running.

If you want to play egg sandwich roulette, try this place! I ordered 3 egg sandwiches on rolls, and every single one was wrong, even though I watched them write down and confirmed the order. They forgot to even make one. We got home and realized one was missing, one was covered in mayo, and one was drenched in ketchup even though I specified absolutely no ketchup. We went back, and the girl at the counter completely denied that the order was wrong. Another worker attempted to help us and remade one, but made us give the original bagels back. Ew? And then I assume he just gave her the same bagel because once again we returned home, and it was covered in ketchup. I called, and they argued that the order was correct , and made me text them a picture for proof because I simply asked to be refunded because I was not going back a third time. I was put on hold 3 times and had to explain myself over and over. Lets see if my order is refunded in the 3-4 business days they said it would take, or else I'll simply just report the charge to my bank. Never again, unless I want to be surprised with my order.
Bagel and sandwhich we had were fine - service good no complaints. However we wont go back- it was filthy! floors dont look like they are ever even swept . The corners and edges of floors black! Tables look like never wiped down. Thats bad enough but the bathrooms were gross!! Makes you wonder what kitchen looks like.

For over 25 years this place has ruined my life. It has created a standard that no other bagel shop can reach for me. It is amazing!!! Whenever I visit Farmingdale I have to come here. Don't do a plain bagel with cream cheese. Try different flavors and it will change your life.

The manager should not be employed here. I asked for well done potatoes with my omelette a few weeks in a row now and I've only received well done potatoes once. Today, I made sure the girl taking my order knew I wanted well done potatoes with black on them because I'm tired of not getting what I'm ordering. I opened the box to find out that they are the opposite of well done. Once I got the manager and asked for well done potatoes again, he said it would take at least ten minutes and then my omelette would be cold. So I brought that up and he said he wouldn't waste the eggs and make new ones. So the only choice I had was to get my money back. On top of that, they were extremely difficult. Some cook with a bad eye starts grilling me and shaking his head. Then he comes out the kitchen to try to handle the situation as if it's his job yelling at me to leave when I wasn't rude to anyone. I've cooked for a living for 15 years and understand mistakes happen. But to refuse me well done potatoes with my breakfast and then to be bullied by the manager and some cook that doesn't know his place or how to cook potatoes well done is insane. I've grown up in this town and always came here throughout the years. This was extremely disappointing to find out that Stuff-A-Bagel can't produce well done potatoes and actually employed these people and had the nerve to make one of them a manager. I can't even discuss this problem with anyone in charge because there is no phone number for anything to contact someone that the manager answers to other than the store number. If you reply with a phone number to someone in charge, I would love to speak with them

Great food, service was slow for me but I was noticing it was who I ordered with because the other staff members were quick. I saw people going and coming with bakers dozens, sandwiches and all while I waited for 2 sandwiches. Again my guy slow but others fast. Also good place to hang out and eat if you wanted.
