We planned a Christmas dinner here based on the reviews and the gluten free menu. We were one of two tables in the place. Food was great, service was great and we loved the holiday decorations. I’ve passed this place a million times with no hesitation but it’s definitely worth a visit.

After being long time customers we booked a party at Verona and it was an absolute horror! We were grossly overcharged. There were things on our bill that were not ours. There were only two people in our party drinking wine, and our bill had 4 bottles of wine on it . They also charged us for too many people. They charge 6 children under 10 years old as adults. I would never book a party here again!

Came here for Valentine’s Day/engagment celebration and was seated closer side of the outside windows which was blasting cold air which made it very uncomfortable. There should be heaters there for such cold weather. We ordered the pre-fix menu and they totally forgot about our appetizers. We waited a long while for our appetizers and instead the entree came out first. Informed the waiter about our appetizer never came out and he said he would take care of it and take it off the bill, but that did not happen. My steak flavor was pretty good, but it was already cold when it came out from the kitchen.Overall the food and dessert wasn’t bad.But the service was atrocious. The only reason for even a star is because the host that seated us was very pleasant and friendly.

Verona is a great hidden gem in Farmingdale! There is a lot of variety especially vegan and vegetarian options. My family and I went during restaurant week and were all very pleased with our food, all six of us! The service was also great and there was even live music on the Saturday night we visited. I will definitely be returning.

We went for restaurant week & they tried to charge us an extra $10 a person over the $39 price fix (with no extras) because it was Saturday night after 6pm!!!They did remedy it but really!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!My boyfriend and I went here for a date night. We found them on google. Menu looks great and everything. We got there about 9:50pm. On google it says they closed at 11pm. As soon as we walked in the door, the waiter flagged us off with his dirty towel and tells us they’re closed. I asked how come? It says you close at 11pm and I showed him on my phone. He said the bar is open but the kitchen closes at 10pm. The manager was standing right beside him. And to think they’d greet us with the option to have a seat at the bar because the kitchen was closed rather than brushing us off immediately once we walked in would've been a more graceful approach. But instead they chose to be ill-mannered, unpleasant and impolite. And it’s a shame to watch the manager just stand there to not even apologize but I’m sure felt better to turn us away. DISGUSTING. I’m sure if it was their kind of people that walked in they would’ve have the option to sit at the bar instead off being brush off immediately. We are proud BLACK African Americans. Anyways we found a better spot to go to. The service was as expected.

We've been here several times with small groups (4) and larger (12+) and everything has been wonderful! One of my favorites is the veal chop. It's served "tomahawk style" & is so tender and delicious that you don't need the sauce. Don't get me wrong, the sauce is good, too, but the chop is perfect be itself!!

Everything was a amazing from the food to the service. I love how attentive staff was. And the fact that they gave us a plate of warm biscottis to finish off our wonderful night. Would come back!

Was in town because a loved one passed and needed a place for our group to meet after. They were accommodating. Good ambiance. Attentive service. Food was pretty good, but not fantastic.Tomato sauce on the veal dish with mushrooms was a little more like tomato soup, slightly creamy, wasn't bad but not what I had expected. The price on the set menu was reasonable but I did find the fact that everyone has to get the same first dish not ideal. Luckily they were accommodating to diet restrictions for those who needed it and substituted something else. Also, there was a charge on the bill for putting the table together for our event... not sure if this is standard practice, but it's something to be aware of.Overall, very good experience and I would highly recommend checking this place out when in the area.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating.
