We recently visited Kabayan Grill at Farmingville while in the area. The space is very large with white every where and karaoke/music towards the front. The space may be too much with not enough furniture to fill in voids. On our recent visit, it's sad to say that our dishes were salty. We ordered several common dishes and sadly all were salty. I'm hoping it's one-offs or perhaps the establishment will see this review and make some adjustments. We ingest too much sodium.I would like to go back when in the area, but until then, I would keep the current rating.

Foodie Paradise at Kabayan! ??If you're craving authentic Filipino food with a side of warm hospitality, Kabayan should be your top pick!Variety Galore: This place is a haven for indecisive foodies like me. The menu bursts with delicious options, from classic like Bulalo (tender beef shank in bone marrow broth) and Pancit Bihon (stir-fried glass noodles) to sizzling specialties like Sisig and Bangus Sisig (crisp pork or milkfish belly with onions and chilies). We also shared hearty plates of Chopsuey and Kalderetang Kambing (goat stew in tomato sauce), and none of them disappointed!Tastebuds Singing: Every dish was bursting with flavour. The Bulalo broth was rich and comforting, the Chicken Skewers BBQ were perfectly grilled with a sweet-savory glaze, and the Chopsuey was a vibrant medley of fresh vegetables and meat. I particularly loved the Sizzling Bangus Sisig – the smoky, crispy fish belly with onions and chillies was an absolute delight!Friendly Faces: The service was just as fantastic as the food. Our server, Ate, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She spoke Hiligaynon, which felt like a warm welcome from home. She patiently explained the menu and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience.Spacious & Practical: The restaurant itself is quite spacious, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. They even have a mini Filipino grocery store attached, so you can stock up on your favourite ingredients after your meal. ️Price Perfection: To top it all off, the prices at Kabayan are incredibly reasonable. You get generous portions of delicious food without breaking the bank.Final Verdict:If you're looking for a taste of the Philippines with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, Kabayan is a must-try! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Filipino cuisine at its finest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️P.S. Don't forget to try the garlic rice – it's the perfect accompaniment to any dish!P.P.S. Mabuhay, Kabayan! Salamat sa masarap na pagkain at mahusay na serbisyo!Parking: Heaps of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, and the door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

Dropped in to pick up some Filipino delicacies for a brunch meet up. Ordered to go deep fried boneless milkfish (daing na bangus), sauteied mixed vegetables in fermented shrimp flavor (pinakbet), crisp fried pork belly (lechon kawali), beef braised in soy, calamanai marinade in onion rings (bistek), pork stew in blood (dinuguan), and steamed white rice. Service was quick and food freshly prepared. All dishes savory and capture taste from Philippines but portions smaller than expected for the price. Staff superfriendly and welcoming. There's a grocery section of canned and frozen food as well as snack items towards back of the resto.

I placed my order ONLINE, their pancit canton and arroz caldo, and when the order got delivered, I opened them up quickly! because that 16 oz white plastic deli container is dangerously made of BPA and other chemicals, especially when the food is placed HOT! so, the arroz caldo wasSALTY! I was unable to eat it until I get myself a fresh lemon at the store. Then, next was the pancit canton, also SALTY. These food are going to give me abnormal high blood pressure or hypertension, they are unhealthy! Hope the chef is listening and would put LESS SALT, next time. If you can substitute the good salt, pls do so, use the HimalayanSALT or the Pinoy rock SeaSALT! they are healthier than the regular American TABLE salt loaded with chemicals.BTW, I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE with my order through the Dash Door App, on top of my computer experiencing tech issue, which doubled up one of my orders, so I ended up spending $80+ for arroz caldo, pancit canton; chicken BBQ; and the pork BBQ which was ordered by mistake due to tech issue! i don't eat pork bec Im allergic to it. I tried calling the place but i was told the order was done. It was my first time and wasn't familiar with their website where to find the receipts, etc. Dash Door CHARGES OUTRAGEOUS PRICES per order, each order comes with the service fees + dash tips! so, pls don't press that button when you see, ADD More Orders with NO extra charges...but they lied I got hit up for more service fees + dash tips. I will never use Dash Door ever again I got ripped off. KABAYAN GRILLLOCATION: 1075 Portion RdFarmingville, NY 11738

Service was great but food wise I think they can do better the pork belly wasn't crispy or hot, fish was undercook. We order about 6 dishes and they were all terrible. Maybe we are not into Filipino food at all.

Happened July 2nd at around 3pm. Food is mid compared to other kabayan branches. Older guy with earrings and younger dude wearing airpods acting like total punks. Dont even greet people and just drop the food at the table without saying a word. Im not asking them to kiss my a** but atleast have the same standards as the other branches. Everybody else was very good tho specially the Deo.

My No.1 favorite Filipino Restaurant in the whole Long Island NY. The food is so good, and sumptuous. They used quality ingredients to match it with the friendly price. The place is so clean and spacious with adequate parking.A undiscovered diamond when you’re searching for authentic Filipino Cuisine. The staff were warmth and friendly. Their Menudo, Kare Kare and Cristy Pata are at par with Max’s, Bario Fiesta and Kamayan the known pillars in the food business.Highly recommend to all our kababayans and American friends. Kudos to Kabayan Grill!

Welcoming atmosphere, service, and attentive staff like Deo. Would definitely come back for food and grocery! Ordered a lot from the grocery, brazo de mercedes (whole Filipino style custard, sponge-like cake) and pork belly lechon (cooked perfectly). Will definitely try other menu items in the future..
