“Great little place. We were there 30 minutes before opening and the lady let us in anyway. She was running back AND front of house. She had the bar, our table, and cooked our food because the server wasn't in yet. We sat by the fireplace. The pizza was delicious. The only thing was the country music. Awful. Lol.“

“We were in the area to ski at Belleayre, and there were not a lot of dining options on a Monday night. We chose La Cabana because it has a bar... the classic margarita on the rocks was perfect. We started with chips and salsa, which were very fresh. We both had the same entree, the vegetarian combination. It was tasty, plenty to eat and very reasonable, though I prefer regular beans to refried beans on the side. The ambiance was so-so, kind of a large bland room, but there was a big wood stove cranking out some welcome heat. The server was very pleasant. Happy we found this place and we'd visit again.“

“Came here for my birthday dinner on monday night with two friends. Having a culinary background. I always enjoy trying places with fresh, unique, seasonal menus. Not only was this restaurant all of the above but they actually changed their menu daily. The flavor profile of each dish was perfectly balanced and unique. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was also top notch. Our server, the hostess and everyone who passed our table was extremely accommodating. This was an amazing experience and I'm so happy I got to do it for my birthday. I highly, highly recommend going here.“

“Great food, great service, and quirky atmosphere. You order your food at the entry with a delightful young lady. Make your own coffee or pick a drink from the coolers. Order is delivered to your table by that same very friendly lady. The stuffed challah french toast with cream cheese, fresh fruit, maple syrup, and Nutella was AMAZING. All 7 of us had great food, very reasonable prices, and a really friendly experience. You can even sit outside in the good weather.Parking: Parking seems to be used by other nearby businesses as well.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, food was fast and fabulous so no waiting for a waitress to take your order. Go on up to the kitchen and place your order and grab your own drinks. No cranky kids waiting and the atmosphere will be interesting for them. The bathroom was clean.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, but probably not easy to navigate through inside.“

“A nice experience with excellent food and service. The bar and dining room are separated relatively effectively through a right angle hallway with a shared men's room. The ladies' room is right up front by the entrance. It's really in an awful spot, pretty much in the dining room, but as I said the place is small. The food was very good with reasonable prices. The service was excellent. And, as the place is also a bar, any drink or beer you want is available. The atmosphere was super quiet and respectful. We'll be back.“

“My husband and I are visiting the Catskills for our anniversary weekend. We had dinner at Oakley’s two nights in a row, and the food was great both nights, but tonight was exceptional. I had the chicken parmesan, and my husband had the chuck steak, which was a daily special. The steak was enormous, and so incredibly delicious. The fat was buttery, everything was nicely seasoned, and it was cooked perfectly. Everything about that meal was phenomenal. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“My wife and I loved an affordable, comfy, and clean place to stay while we skied at Belleayre. Coffee in the AM was great and were total coffee snobs! We used to frequent this area several years ago and a few things have since closed down, meaning you’ll need to drive over to Arkville for general supplies. Most places nearby seemed to open around 8am and close on the earlier side. Although we visited during the week and saw that they would make you breakfast on the weekend.Expect traditional Catskills lodging.We’ve eaten at the tavern in the past and it was great. Didn’t make it on our last visit.“

“The food was incredible. We got the chicken skillet for two. It was an entire chicken which we were not expecting. Seasoned so beautifully and paired with roasted potatoes, onions and garlic. So good. Romantic atmosphere. Just a little too dark for me but my eyes aren’t the best. Loved this dinner and so happy we came!“
