To start, they seat you with a tray of tortilla chips and 2 types of dipping sauces which were both flavorful and delicious. First we ordered the loaded plantain, then for tacos we got the cauliflower, chicharron and shrimp and we got the chicken burrito bowl and chicharron burrito bowl, all delicious. If this place wasn't so far from our home it would be a regular. Great place, definitely try.

Very cute local taco joint with a full bar and on-site parking! The decor is beachy taco work both tables and booth, the service is good, and the food fresh and tasty. The cocktails are really good too. I had the Big Mick (waygu beef slider, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, and uptown sauce) served on a flat bun pressed to be like a taco shell, and the mahi taco (blackened mahi, guac, and mango avocado salsa). My beverage was The People's Margarita (I asked for it w/o agave) - tart and pineapple flavored with just a hint of spice - deliciousz I'll definitely be back.

What’s not to like, the Taco’s are delicious, fresh and quality ingredients, very welcoming atmosphere, outstanding happy hour. I would call them artisanal taco’s , not only are they delicious, very broad range of types of tacos. Truly a hidden gem and if your in the mood for a tasty “uptown” Taco, well then come to Uptown
Food here is so good. 5/5. The short rib quesadilla has so much cheese and short rib and it's flavored so well. The big mik taco tastes just like a Big Mac. The gringo is simple yet so good the ground beef is very well seasoned. Love the bbq chicken taco also. My fiancé loves the fish and shrimp tacos. But I will warn you the margaritas are STRONG so proceed with caution. This place never disappoints.

When in Queens, it is so worth the drive. Staff remembers you and what you like to drink. They have a Great Mocktails. Please do not miss my forever staple The Brussel Sprout Taco! OMG it is the best veggie

Ehhh, the food is medium. It's nothing special. The prices are ok, especially if you come during happy hour. But don't expect the taste to be excellent. My chicken taco was cold and gummy. It was very clearly not fresh. Big Mick taco was good though. Plantains were delicious. It does get busy. We had a booth and my ear was in pain from the bar area. Lots of the older folk come in after work for drinks, so be mindful if bringing kids. Margarita wasn't great either.
