I love this place. Ordered the sashimi bento box. The fish was fresh and awesome! I ate way too much. The box had dumplings, sushi rolls, salad, seaweed salad, rice, and soup. All for $25. This place is small, with seating for only 7-8 people. It is right off the 52nd St. station on the 7 train line. If you pay cash, they give you a discount.

Nice hole in the wall place close to one of the Blink gyms I went to today. It's relatively small but the food is fresh and the aesthetic of the place has the feel of that of a Japanese restaurant tucked into a commercial street in Shinjuku. I had a simple lunch special, the sushi I got was pretty filling. I didn't think 3 rolls would be enough but it hit the spot along with the miso soup. Next time I come around and I have a bit more money to blow, I'll try one of their bento boxes but as far as the sushi goes, it's legit.

Local hidden gem. I think there was a change in ownership turn key. Still the same menu. Orderd 3 roll special for lunch today and the chefs technique and ingredients were on point. Blessing to the new phase of this shop.

I've been going here for 7 years and I love it! Always fresh and well made. I usually pickup 회덥밥 hwedeopbab (sashimi over salad + rice with spicy cho-gochujang) and donkatsu box. Portion is generous and not over priced like other places.

They have new owners :( so sad but I'm sure the good quality hasn't been affected. Still yummy. Just different portion sizes and ambiance. The prices haven't changed, so hopefully that remains that way. They put brighter lights and have different bowls (small changes like that). I don't expect the same hospitality and free sliced up oranges as a treat but this place is a staple for Woodside. I wish the owners well on their retirement and thank them for their services.

This place is a hype AF, today I had the lunch special 3 rolls perfectly made.Spicy crunchy tuna, a vegetable roll and a white tuna roll. The location isn’t my favorite but the sushi is.It’s run by a couple of older folks that are attentive knowledgeable and kind.This place has been here for 18 years.If you get a chance to stop in I recommend doing so alone and have a memorable lunch.
