The best to me

It's a food stall in Flushing, and the seating available is dingy and shared with other stalls nearby. Late at night, panhandlers may sometimes walk up to you while you're eating and ask for money. They sometimes also occupy the restroom for inordinate amounts of time, so the move is to...move and not be stationary while eating food from here. Ordered the exploding chicken. It was fresh out of the fryer and the first bite was delicious. However the chicken was dry and the breading did not stick onto the meat. After one bite, the entire 'sleeve' of breading just slid around. I feel like 591 has the potential to be very good, but my order seemed...wrong. For $9, if you're just getting literally a single piece of chicken, at least make it correctly.

(Translated by Google) No. 5 No. 6 tender chicken legs and magic chicken pieces are my favorite, tender and juicy, chicken with gluten, chewy, first-class stick is the best chicken chops! none of them!

This is one of my go-to hole in the wall spots in Flushing. The people who work here don't really speak English, so with my limited Chinese, I was able to order by pointing at the images on the menu. You get to choose your level of spicy. My biggest advice is to start off at mild. Their spices level is nothing compared to KFC or Popeyes. Even the mild level will have you running. If you can take the heat, come back to try to medium. I mainly come here for their fried squid since I have my holy grail for Taiwanese chicken at another stall. Definitely a must try!

This place has been on my to do list for a while now and finally...i got to it ! I ordered the boneless thigh, and it was fried on the spot; she told me 5 minutes and even included some breast pieces for me to try...since she said it isnt dry like the other places. Bottom line, I loved my chicken thigh, it was juicy, tender and the outer crust crispy as can be. The breast still isnt my favorite part of the chicken but I'm sure itll taste better with the exploding cheese in the middle.

I'm due for a good fried chicken/chicken popcorn place, tried many places in flushing still haven't found the perfect taste. Saw some good reviews thought I would give it a try. Ordered the big chicken for $8, size is big but very thin. It's freshly made so the outside is very crispy but because it's too thin the chicken itself is dry. Also the chicken doesn't taste fresh, couldn't finish them all because of the weird taste.

TLDR: Chicken tasted really fresh and crispy, a bit light on spices but it's better to be light and add more later, than too salty and can't do much about it. There were some chairs and tables inside that all food stalls seem to share for customers.

My daughter introduced me to this gem of a chicken spot this past weekend. She'd gotten a #5. A big piece of boneless chicken was fried, then cut into bite sized pieces with a big pair of scissors. My daughter likes her food spicyyyyy so she got the spicy seasonings sprinkled on her chicken. We walked a bit and let it cool. Then she took a bite. MOM, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! The kid knows what's good! She got it from her mama. So I tried a piece. Deeeeelish!! So we decided that we'd go back for more on the rebound. She got the same; spicy #5 and I got #5 regular. I shoulda asked the lady to put a wee little bit of that spicy stuff on my chicken cos while it was really good, it was kinda bland compared to the spicy chunk I'd gotten from my daughter earlier. I'm looking forward to going back and trying everything else on the menu save for the squid. Not a fan of squid meat. I just can't get past the fact that it's squid. I'm sittin' here wondering what the pumpkin fries taste like. Will update when I find out!

I've tried many fast food fried chicken type places in the area and this is one of the very few places in flushing that always does fresh frying (not refry bs) on the spot and does enough oil changes to keep that golden white color (i.e. beige color not the darker brown in used oil) speaks for itself, moist and tender chicken as a result with the right amount of five spice salt mix. An effective use of a 25 sq ft stall that has 3 fryers, rice cooker, and braised pork pot, mom and pop making all the orders. Can't beat that.

(Translated by Google) The oversized chicken chops can be cut, a large portion, and two or three people can eat enough.
