Food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good and other times it is terrible. I ordered the same thing two days apart and the second time it was so watered down I felt like I was drinking water. Told the waitress about it and they did not do anything about it. Go at your own risk.

My favorite Shanghainese place in flushing and the prices are amazing. Their dumplings amd pan fried dumplings are a must try, extremely juicy. Just make sure not to burn your tongue. Very authentic home cooked vibes, very casual setting. Classic hole in the wall vibes.

The service is quick and the food is really tasty and cheap. The pork knuckle is delicious and would highly recommend coming here.

Food was mediocre… maybe we didn’t order the right dish. Crabmeat over noodle was okay, nothing special. The bamboo and salted meat soup was pretty good comparing to my experience at another restaurant, but the bamboo shoots are not in season, so the bamboos are literally bamboos, they were woody. Sweet and sour ribs were stewed for way too long, they were really dry, and we didn’t particular appreciate the sauce either. We might try again with different dishes but this is a very average experience.

Pretty decent Shanghainese food. Used to come here as a kid when it was 上海小吃 when there weren’t as many shanghainese options in the city. Food is still pretty good. And it comes out hot and fast. The quality has gone down a little bit but overall still quite nice. For its price, its good. Service and atmosphere is great!

Food is average. The young male server is somewhat impatient and rude as if patrons are disturbing him.

Left a bad impression from the first second I stepped in here. The tables were clean but the waiter was extremely rude from the moment we stepped in here. They did not answer my question when I asked how many seats were upstairs and just kept telling us that someone reserved it when we just wanted to know about the place. Then he seemed unwilling to serve us and put the menu on our table down with such arrogance and left. We sat down for about 20 seconds when we felt our appetites disappear and we left afterwards because we did not want to dine here. It gave me and my family such an unwelcoming feeling. Wanted to try out this place because I saw a good review of it and people were saying the food was good, but we did not want to be further disrespected. There are many other better options that treat you with respect as a customer. We went to Cheli after and the service was really great.

Awful service, very mean and pushy. I was going to order for my friends and I but they were so awful I just wanted to leave. Ordered pan fried dumplings for $8 something, I thought you can’t go wrong with pork dumplings. I was wrong. I’ve eaten and even made them so the fact that these are the worst I’ve ever eaten is sad. Be nicer, especially if your food is going to taste so bad.
