They are so damn cheap with their cream cheese. You pay $5.50 for a schmear?! It was worth no more than $3.00! What a rip off and it's obvious that the old owners have sold it to cheap people. I will never come back here again. I'll go up on Union Turnpike instead

my boyfriend and I just bought bagels from this bagel store about 15 minutes ago (12:30-12:40ish) on 3/7/24 and I'm embarrassed for the shop. To start, the bagel is the size of a sand dollar it's pathetic and I asked for extra creamed cheese and there wasn't even enough creamed cheese to even cover the bagel! I have never EVER seen a bagel be sold with such little creamed cheese (especially that I had my boyfriend go in and ask for extra) it was mostly bare bread. as a bagel store especially in New York, this place should be utterly embarrassed of what it serves and how it rips of its customers. will never be coming back and will tell all my friends in the neighborhood what disgraceful bagels they sell.

BEWARE WITH USING YOUR CARD AT THIS PLACE… ASK FOR A RECEIPT OR BETTER YET, AVOID THIS PLACE. They will tell you the amount before you pay but charge you for more. I got a bagel with cream cheese and a medium coffee for which the cashier told me it was $6.38 total. Fine. I was in my account later that day and I was charged $7.10… What?! $.72 cents is not a big deal but it is when that is not the total you were told. It’s the principle and I feel like they are robbing their customers.. a few cents at a time each. Bad enough their prices are ridiculous… THEY WILL CHARGE YOU $1.50 TO PUT BUTTER ON YOUR BREAD! Also, my co-worker bought ONE slice of cheese pizza and they charged her $8! She went back to complain and they lied and said she bought 2x. THESE PEOPLE WILL OVERCHARGE YOU SO PAY ATTENTION. I work across the street and I will spread this info to everyone. NEVER coming here again. BUNCH OF FRAUDS.

Let me start with saying that the bagels from this place taste good and many of the employees are very nice. This doesn't make up for the poor customer service in this bagel place. Today I simply ordered an egg and sausage bagel not toasted, clearly stating "no cheese" to the lady and she nodded and walked away. She brought the bagel to the cashier and the cashier charged me $8 for just a bagel with sausage. I was shocked because when I usually get this it's $5.50. I just check to make sure that they got the order right in the first place or if they overcharged me because they put an extra ingredient and not surprisingly there was cheese. The cashier gives me the money that I overpaid and he sends it back to be fixed. Instead of the lady getting me the bagel it was another worker there. He was nice and apologized for the mistake the female worker made and wished me a good day. I walked to the table just to make sure it was the right order but to my surprise instead of giving me sausage and egg he gave me bacon and egg. I intentionally ordered sausage instead of bacon because I know that they own give about one and a half strips of bacon for $1.50 and for the same price I could have gotten a whole sausage patty. I get up from my chair and go back to the cash register only to see the cashier roll his eyes at me knowing they got the order wrong again, only it was aimed at me not them. Annoyed, he says "what now" to me and I immediately ask for a refund instead of my order as I have already been waiting for 25 minutes for my one bagel with sausage and egg order. The cashier says sorry I can't give you a refund but I can go fix your order again. At this point this one encounter is almost entirely ruining my day but I walk with the cashier to the two workers that had taken my order. The second employee to take my order apologetically states "oh sorry I thought you wanted bacon I'll fix it this time". I believe the cashier is the owner of this bagel spot so I suspect he was only sorry because he was afraid of getting in trouble with his boss. The lady worker (the first person to take my order) condescendingly states "you walked away before I could ask if you wanted cheese". The other worker says he will correct the order and tells the female worker to calm down and says he remembers the first thing I said was no cheese. The lady gave me a stare like I had done something wrong but I didn't do anything and instead took my order and left after half an hour of waiting for a bagel with two ingredients on it. I would not be writing this review if this were the first time they got my order wrong. I go here all the time and I would say maybe 30% of the time they get at least one thing about my order wrong. Not to mention new workers that are coming in (the lady being one of them) continue to be more rude than the original workers. These bagels are not cheap so them tasting good does not make up for the many other mistakes made. If you are looking for a cheap bagel spot where they always get your order right you have come to the wrong place.

Staff professional. Shared a good sandwich, sat at the table, and could see dust, and garbage under tables and chairs -

I want to love this place so much because it is conveniently placed across the street from my job but THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS! I bought a croissant ($3) and I asked for butter … it was $1.50!! So to spread butter on a croissant will cost you half the price of the bread. Terrible. The service is ok… most times they are understaff and lines form for too long. The young girls cashiers are too busy chit chatting or on their phones to realize the lines are getting long. I would only go here now if I really have to. CHANGE PRICES AND STOP ROBBING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

It really sucks that there's aggressive loud customers that cut in line and make this place terrible.

Best bagel place in fresh meadows. Hands down! The bagels are chewy and fresh and just perfect!

It is one of the best kept secrets in Queens and a top performer, in my opinion, in the 5 boroughs in New York when it comes to bagels.I've been to enough bagel spots throughout New York and out of state for the past 30 years to back my opinion on this establishment, and I have to say this is hands down my go to spot when it comes to bagels. The reason is how they are made. I have been there enough times now to watch the process but probably missing the secrets involved.1. Once they made the doe and shape of the bagel, which is all I house, they then dump them all into a huge (seems like a 100 gallon) commercial barrel of boiling water.2. Once they start floating to the top, they then fish them out with a strainer one by one.3. They are then put on wet wooden blocks about 5 or so on a block that are then placed into an old school rotating oven.4. Once ready, they pull out the wooden block with the freshly done bagels on them, and then, from the oven to the baskets, they go right in front of the customer. The ingredients they use are amazing because the taste is amazing. One more thing I will say why I constantly choose this place over others is the shelf life of their bagels. I am a big egg bagel fan, and their egg bagels can literally last me up to a week and still stay soft after day 4 or 5 with no mold growing on them. If you get there early enough in the morning and want a toasted bagel, they will toast it in their oven, face down, which takes the bagel taste experience to another level. They also make all kinds of catering, sandwiches and other delicacies. This place is so underrated and such a hidden gem in Queens that if they actually got their own dedicated place outside of the shopping center they would do phenomenal and probably would be able to open many stores from them in the form of franchising. That is how much confidence I have in this place and the amazing bagels they serve up fresh daily. Hope this store never goes away.

The best bagels hands down!

Place has changed so much. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese, 1 egg. I got home with sausage, 2 eggs, cheese, and crunchy eggshells. Threw it in the garbage can.
