Place is a business mess. None of their signage correlates with their food products. I grabbed a pork bun, a puff pork pastry and puff curry bun. $2.50 each item. I paid and it was like $6 each item. Lady must have sensed my confusion and said “this item is fish sandwich, this item is a chicken sandwich”. I was very confused. Then she comes around and I say “pork” and point. She says “this pork” and grabs items. Then she returns behind counter and gives me back more change (presumably because my items were less $). Now I’m thoroughly confused on the monetary exchange. I just shake my head and leave with what I bought and my remaining change. Think I got short changed. All that bad as it is,…the one product I have tried was an embarrassment. A pork bun with barely any roast pork. Won’t be back again. And my advice to the business….ALIGN YOUR SIGNAGE SO IT MATCHES THE FOOD.

Love this bakery. It looks like one of those hole in the wall bakeries you'll find in Hong Kong. What they say is true about their pineapple buns being the best. However, my mom got me very addicted to their taro loaf bread. They only have it at certain times during the day and they only make a few at a time. It's literally a full load of bread but inside have chunky of taro inside....YUM!! There's a small parking lot in front too. I came super early one time when they first opened but they were not ready whatsoever cause they are still preparing for the day.... So I would come a bit later.

Such a lovely little mom and pop shop~ While taking my friend to explore flushing, we stopped by this tucked away hidden gem for the ample parking nearby. I didn't know prices like this existed in NYC anymore! For a calm and welcoming start to a Flushing crawl consider Carnation Bakery. The serving sizes and taste remind you of visiting an encouraging relative. Will return if only for the peaceful atmosphere.

This fried chicken bun is the star of the show. Amazing taste, great price. Get there early tho.

Come here for the pineapple bun. But there is no pineapple in the bun. I know. Just trust me on this. It's not pineapple flavored. But it's good. They resemble them outside of the pineapple. This is the place to go for pineapple buns. They have it with milky center, red bean, taro and other flavors. Get here early so you'll have a selection to pick from. And if you're lucky they'll be warm. Yes it's carbtastic!

Very good bakery and fair pricing. Only compliant is they are always low on inventory which is understandable sometimes with cost of supplies and quality control.

Great croissants. Doesn't look like the French croissant but tastes very good. Kind of like an oil cruller but less oily and shaped kind of like a croissant.I repent of making misleading statements about bad luck and Buddha statues in Businesses. These statements come from my own personal beliefs. It's not about bad luck. You don't have to believe what I believe. I'm not forcing anyone. So please continue to have freedom of choice and religion. I apologize for any distress I've caused anyone and I apologize for any disturbances to your businesses. The legend about the cat statue and Buddha statue is something I fabricated to deceive people into getting rid of the statues in their homes or businesses for their own benefit and good. I was trying to trick people into obeying God. God didn't come to condemn people for their sins. God wants all people to be saved. God is a good God. I apologize for misrepresenting God and the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you all.

Best bolo bao (pineapple bun) in Queens no lie. The turtle shell tiles that make up that upper crust have such a good crunchy texture to accompany the soft, airy bread underneath. Doesn't have a strong flavor but the texture paired with the warm hug feeling you get from eating bread is just chefs kiss gorgeous. Different people prefer different bolo baos (some like the flatter, softer kind from Fayda bakery) and that's okay but this is top tier. They also got another version they call the large pineapple bun which is longer and has a nice salty buttery flavor on the inside. The coconut bolobao is filled with moist coconut flakes on the inside.
