Fried pork cutlets wrapped in rice and seaweed belong together harmoniously, despite my initial skeptical thought of crispy breaded batter against soft rice. I wasn't expecting the Omelette Rice ($15) to taste so good, but the egg was the perfect consistency, adding an extra creaminess to the fried rice. This would be my go-to whenever I crave Korean food in Flushing.

I've been going to this place since I was in middle school and I'm so grateful to see it's still up and running. I came by recently and the food was just as good as I remembered! There used to be two ahjummas running the restaurant but I didn't see them this time. The service was still excellent- they served us very quickly and packed up our order when we couldn't finish neatly and quickly as well. It's a hole in the wall kinda spot so don't expect much but the food makes up for it.

We went to Chung Moo for an early dinner and were surprised to see that there were quite a few others there as well. We opted to sit outside because there was more space and fans to cool us down. We ordered the Donkatsu and Omelet Rice. Both dishes came with coleslaw, and the omelet rice came with yellow radish. We were also served miso soup and kimchi; the kimchi was incredibly well-marinated. The Donkatsu was great, and the sauce was sweet and savory. While the Omelet Rice was also good, we preferred a different type of meat inside the Omelet Rice. Both portions were big and relatively cheap, and the service was good. Overall, the food was good, but it didn't blow our minds. Nonetheless, we would still come back here again because the food is cheap and the portions are big.

All their dupbaps also comes with some kimchi and a miso soup. My favorite is their spicy pork dupbap and their spicy squid kimbap. They have outdoor seating and like 6 spots indoor, but it's a small family owned place and I usually just order to-go. Tl;dr - affordable, large portion, delicious, outdoor seating, small shop
