This spot always delivers. They serve excellent food for affordable pricing, there no long wait even when the spot is packed.

The service is above average but the food is mediocre and inconsistent. We go because it was the only place that can serve a family of 10 or more on a weekday. The family can gather, that's the most important thing.

It's old school Cantonese dim sum and sooo good. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it's bright and strangely cozy inside. The food is consistently good. The service is good and attentive at times and other times, they're overwhelmed. I've attended dinner banquets there twice and it's surprisingly good but the dishes weren't my favorite (chewy mini abalone? really?)

My criteria for good dim sum... must be tasty, fresh and plentiful. We arrive a bit late for dim sum, approx 1:30 PM, not prime time and they were out of a lot of items. But it was still busy enough that we got some main items and washed it down with with hot tea. The food tasted fresh and the staff was quick to serve and amiable. This was our first time at this place for dim sum as there are many in Flushing and it is extremely hard to decide wish one to eat at. I was disappointed that I didn't get to have egg tarts since we arrived late. I did see other tables had some and they did look delicious. I'm not sure if the selection of dim sum would have been better had we arrived earlier. We'll have to try again next time and I'll update my review. But in the mean time, get you some dim sum!

Good, but know what you are ordering. The e-fu noodles were overcooked but the shrimp dumplings were perfect. Tasty and delish. They gave me forks when I wanted chopsticks and only one dish came with a sauce (nothing on the side), so ask for exactly what you want. Everything but the noodles was really good.

We usually head to Chinatown to eat Chinese, but today we didn't want to head downtown from Mt. Vernon so we went to Queens. It was very busy in the area, traffic is rough and parking was challenging. We parked in a garage and walked 2 blocks to Good Kitchen. First of all, it has 2 huge dining areas. We went upstairs and were seated immediately. We had to flag a waiter to take our order and the language barrier was evident (he got our order wrong) In the meantime we were constantly asked if we wanted Dim Sum which got annoying at one point. The food came and we asked for no pork in the Singapore Noodles and the waiter didn't understand our request. Overall, the food was GREAT! I can't really complain about the food. HOWEVER, I recommend you check AND double check your bill. They tried to charge us $20 extra and couldn't explain what that was for. Between the language barrier and the bill being written in Chinese, you need to question EVERYTHING or use Google Translate because it appears they do this often.

Great Cantonese foods, weekend lunch tea meal and refined dinner.

Okay. I have to give a fair review. I've been coming here after my last review/experience. That manager is gone and this place has been my go to dim sum place. The food is excellent and so far this restaurant still has the fried vegetarian tofu skin wrap. "Jie fu pei gwuin" that's the best I can do. Also prices varies. It is cheaper during the weekdays versus the weekends. Also be aware when you order shrimp anything. That could either be Large or Special.

Just wanted to reiterate that this is my go to number 1 dimsum place in NYC. I've not tried their other meals, but, i can guarantee this place has the best service when I go as they're very attentive. I try to go to other dimsum places to see if there are any better ones, but, i always go back here. It's a gem and I hope it doesn't change. My parents and I love this place. Price, service, quality and speed are great.

Great restaurant for groups of 8 to 10 people (family style). Authentic Chinese Cantonese cuisine.

Food was overpriced! $220 for five people means that the food should be amazing, but wow, mediocre seafood for that price. Nope! Won't be coming back here again unless it's for dimsum or ordering just a meal. It was definitely not worth it but it was New Year's Day. We were also the only table around 5pm. Maybe too early for dinner, then a large group came into to sit on the table next to us. The food was mediocre it wasn't terrible wasn't good either. Way expensive tho! I wasn't particularly full after this meal. $30 fish maw soup was not worth it. I can honestly make better fish maw soup :(

Service is decent. Very responsive. Portions are good. Taste, however, is another story. It’s a 50/50. Some dishes were extremely bland, while others had a funky taste, very Inconsistent. Do not get sweet and sour pork it was bad and tasted stale. The pork belly with preserved vegetables was very good, same with the jellyfish. Overall, it could’ve been better, but the inconsistencies kinda dropped it from a possible 4 star to 3. Service as mentioned, was very good. Any problems and they exchanged it no questions asked.

Love Good Kitchen. My parents and I have come here many times for dim sum in the morning, and it's been delicious every time. The wait on Christmas Day was nonexistent, but otherwise the wait has been about 30 minutes on a weekend during brunch time. They don't skimp on the shrimp - the shrimp dumpling and shrimp spring roll burst with juicy shrimp. I've gotten a lot of their dishes, and each are delicious. Good vibes too - the service is quick and the ladies are nice (with a side of "buy this, buy that, buy everything!" lol, as per usual). Solid dim sum spot:) Also have been here for dinner and gotten the complete prix fixe meals, and they were super good. Had lots of delicious leftovers. Recommend this spot!

My family has been going to this restaurant for over a decade for dim sum/ yum cha. We have been to dim sum restaurants in many different states but this may still be our favorite. The people are friendly and the food is good. I have taken dates here just to give them the experience because most of the time they haven't been to a restaurant with people wheeling carts with food around. The only complaints is that it can be inconsistent sometimes and the price keeps rising.

This place is getting worse and worse. The last time I reviewed it several years ago, I had given it 3 stars (I don't recall the specifics, but it must've been mediocre at best). Updating my review to 1 star now because of the following experience I had at dinner here:
