Nice clean fish market on Austin Street in Forest Hills. A bit pricey but the seafood is always fresh.

Love having a mom and pop fishmonger in the neighborhood. Good selection and kind, helpful staff. I dont go as often as I should.

Fresh fish and hard-working staff. Been getting fish here for like 35 years.

Been coming here for about 30 years. Even though the place has changed hands they still have the juiciest cocktail shrimp, crispiest calamari and I get the WILD salmon at least 2x a week. (I cannot stomach that farmed stuff at the big box stores). I also like the fact that the staff knows me, treats me like family and gives me advice on what is in season. Stuff like that seems to be a list art in todays world.

Great quality of fish but a very limited selection of whole fish. Would be perfect if they expanded but as I understand it, locals don't really like buying whole fish.

Used to be better. All in all, not a bad store. They have fresh fish, shrimp and oysters.. some fried, too. No lobster, though!!

Forest Hills Fishery is a small fresh fish shop. They have a decent selection of fish that you'd see on fine dining menus. From what I remember, they had: scallops, tuna, salmon, trout, arctic char, halibut, flounder, swordfish, Chilean seabass, dorada, grey sole. Plus a few more I don't remember. "Dorada" could be a misspelling on their part--dorado's more common though dorada is sometimes used to refer to a type of bream. Their prices are high. Given the location of this shop, that's not entirely unexpected. If you're close by and you're willing to pay more for the sake of convenience, go for it.
