Excellent canto food prepared fresh and fast. Reminds me of an old school Chinatown restaurant. Takeout is packed neatly and each lunch special comes with soup. Tax is taken off if paying with cash.

The food is good, the services are okay. The lunch special offers from the restaurant is available 7 days in a week. Good price and good food. Last time I bought 1.5lbs of roasted pig belly, but there's about 1/4 of the portions are pig butt!

The dwindling Canto options across the boroughs has been a sore spot for NYC's dining scene. That makes places like Good Luck Kitchen a worthy place to hold onto, not just as a patron but as a figure in a community that could most certainly use it. They've been a Flushing favorite amongst locals, and is one of the true Canto spots that are still left in the area. The Chinese name ("粤唯鮮") has a much deeper meaning than its current English name would suggest. It is more akin to sort of like, "only Cantonese delicacies" which feels pretty significant especially for anyone who knows Canto. Despite how casual and homey the place is, I'd say the name is quite fitting. Unlike many other restaurants in the neighborhood, GLK actually has some semblance of a dedicated parking with a few spots out front. The restaurant itself is small, but they've managed to cram a good number of people at any given time and is surprisingly group friendly. Bathrooms could be avoided and the interior is a bit worn but still has a homey vibe. On a food front, I'm happy. Their lobster longevity noodles (龍蝦伊麵) have that oily aftertaste to them and is a hearty dish for how premium it is. Shrimp with scrambled egg (蝦仁炒蛋) and salt and pepper tofu (椒鹽豆腐) are both good, while the classic staple shrimp with mayo (蜜汁合桃虾) is passable. Their house soup was excellent and their pan fried flounder (乾煎龍利) was one of the better ones I've had. I am also impressed with their range of roasted meats (燒味) on display and would love to dive in deeper into those the next time I'm back. Overall, I was happy with the service and extremely impressed with my visit. It is a place that I wish was in my neighborhood and I sincerely hope they continue to stick around Flushing for a very long time.

Found this place after watching a video review from YouTube. We ordered 4 dishes, which came in at under $100, which is a steal. Excellent portion sizes and everything came out within 15 minutes of ordering. We had their Bee Chow Fun, which had a good amount of protein in it for the price point. Next was the seasoned Braise Bean Curd, which was soft and complemented with several vegetables. The Twin Lobster with ginger and scallion presentation was excellent and can be ordered with noodles for an extra fee to fill up the dish. Lastly, we had the Sweet and Sour Pork Chops, which was a mountain full. A couple of bowls of rice absorbed the sauce, refills on the tea pot, and some oranges to end the meal. It's definitely worth a follow-up visit.

If you like authentic cantonese food you will most likely like this place! Don't let the small space fool you, they have one of the best canto foods on Northern Blvd. Their lunch special is so worth it! Big portions and it comes with soup, and not just the meh soup that they usually give, it's really authentic canto soup! The only downside of this restaurant is that the lot is small so parking is limited - you can find street parking though! Fyi: remember to bring cash for cash discount!!!

This restaurant has really good lunch service deals. The scramble egg with shrimp and string beans with beef are so good and super affordable! You could easily share the dishes with others too. The chicken soup that comes with the meals is good as well.Honestly, it’s one of the only ones in the area that has really good and authentic Cantonese food!

a surprise hold in a wall. the roast pork and duck are a must-have. Price is a bargain compared to bigger restaurants. Avoid the jelly fish with cucumbers. too

Guangdong's barbecued meat is delicious? You might as well try out the delicacies served in the lounge special at noonThe price is not expensive and the tastes are various and delicious!Dietary restrictions: The roast suckling pig and roast duck are delicious. The lunch special menu is full of dishes and very selective.Parking: There are a few parking spaces in front of this store, and you may want to find parking spaces in the alleys to the left and right.

Came for lunch on a Saturday, ordered the Peking Pork Chop lunch special and the braised noodle dish with crab meat. There was way too much sauce on the pork chops and it was more fried fat than meat. The braised noodles was semi wet when it should've been more pan fried, and there was very little crab meat that at first I thought they gave me the mushroom braised noodles dish instead. People who've praised their "wok hei"...I did not experience this in my dishes. The service was fine. I didn't find anyone rude or ignored me. They came instantly when I waved someone over to take our order, and again when I asked for the check. The prices are descent and I may check out a few more dishes before deciding if this is going to be a go-to neighborhood spot.

The taste of the food can reach the next star. but as for the service and prices, I have a great dislike. Apart from the terrible attention provided, the Special Rice House does not have any meat, only vegetables. It is a robbery. DO NOT ASK FOR IT (I consider it better not to enter again, and I advise you not to enter).

When calling to buy takeout, if the waitress answers the phone, she can still talk like a normal person. Unfortunately, if the call is answered by a man, his attitude is particularly bad. I wonder if he is the boss? Do you still want to keep such a person?

Our go to Chinese restaurant that is quite intimate because it is a tiny restaurant. Just a short walk from my place. Food is good and service is fast. The oil that they use won't make you sick like other chinese restaurants. I have a very sensitive stomach to bad oil. I know when they're using bad and not so bad oil. My body can tell.
