Home cooking kirran food

I always love visiting this restaurant-- from the food to the friendly staff, they always hit the mark and leave me feeling satisfied and content. They recently re-opened their indoor dining situation and I'm glad to be back! The food tastes homemade and authentic, but packs so much flavor. Their portions are pretty big (especially their kimbap), and my boyfriend and I always end up pigging out here because that's just how good it is. Prices are reasonable and you'll get a feast without having to pay too much. It is a family-run business and the owner is always seen with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. There isn't a lot of seating, but I like the cozy vibe that the restaurant gives off. Such a pleasure to be able to support businesses like these, especially when there's yummy food involved!

Tried this restaurant when visiting NYC since I was craving Korean Food. They were pretty strict in implementing Covid protocol, as they let you sign in as well taking your body temperature upon entering the restaurant. All I can say is I absolutely love the food!! The Chef cooked based on your preference and the food really tasted like home cooking indeed. ordered Tofu Soup and I like it vey spicy with raw egg on the top of the Soup, so the Chef graciously made it happened (Despite originally the menu doesn't have egg). Highly recommended place to go to!

I love this small mom and pop korean eatery. They’ve survived through the the pandemic and are still serving up wholesome and authentic Korean fare.Personally, love their kimbap (burdock), their cabbage rolls without meat inside, and their cold vegetarian noodles on hot days (a little sweet and vinegary but refreshing and light). They’re only offering take out at the moment, and no longer table service at their cute little spot.

Great side apps and kimbap. I love their spicy squid one the most but their bulgogi Kimble is great as well.

Ordered three entrees, shrimp fried rice, spicy squid hot pot and tuna kimbab. Highly recommend the spicy squid and tuna kimbab together to get a balance between spice.

They're doing takeout and delivery right now, with a minimum required for delivery. Ordered a pork rib stew, pork bulgogi pot, gossip kimbap and sesame leaf riceballs. Food came in a sizable portion and was delicious. The pork rib stew stood out due to it's spicy savoriness. Favorite item of the order though, would be the sesame leaf rice balls. Overall, a good value. Will def order from again

When I was introduced to gossip house, I was told that they have a good bibimbap. I always wanted to like bibimbap but I usually found it too plain. I'm surprised to see that the bibimbap is actually flavorful here as well as generous. The portion size is generous for the price. It's a nice little family owned restaurant.

Yay! I found another good Korean spot. I was in flushing getting bubble tea and didn't want Chinese anymore so we googled a few places and Gossip House popped up. We came based on the good reviews and it's worth the good reviews. My bf originally wanted to order the spicy squid over rice but he ended up ordering spicy squid fried rice(didn't even know that was a thing) but it came out super delicious. Small chunks of squid, vegetable in the fried rice. It taste like it was made with love :). This is a small family restaurant so yo support them if you can. They will not disappoint. Best believe I'll be back!! No pic cus I ate the fried rice too fast :( but give it a try 9.6/10 :)

Ordered seafood pancake, and found a rubber band bury inside the pancake when we were halfway through it. Called the store and the staff treat us if we were purposely causing a scene...We brought the pancake back, they took a look and didn't bother to apologize or provide any explanation. Just simply refund the pancake. Extremely disappointed...

Visited on a Thursday. The staff was very welcoming and observant. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

good for the kimbap, but would not recommend the soups as the taste is below avg from you'd expect orders from a korean restaurant.
