This is the most expensive chicken curry I’ve ordered in a while so I got it to go and ate in my car. I won’t lie: was pretty good… It was filling and the spice level was good. However, I just would’ve liked to see some potato/ carrots in the curry. I think it would be nice if they included that in one of the lunch specials in the future.Additional info: There’s an accessible bathroom, metered parking and additional residential parking on the side streets.

2/14/24. Been going here for years and the waiter named 'John' ruined the experience for me by slapping my dish plate while I was eating and asking me if it was okay to clear my table before even waiting for me to respond. Never experienced a server slapping a dish from me before while I was eating food with my family. Probably not coming back because of this experience with 'John'.

Overall, this is a good local spot for ramen. The food is enjoyable and delicious. If you are looking for a local ramen place, this is a good go to place in your he area.

Delicious spot for ramen! I had the tonkotsu ramen and hubby had the shoyu ramen. In addition, the staff was friendly. Can't wait to come back.

It's been over a decade since Hashi made their initial splash in Queens, capitalizing at a time when the ramen scene was at its peak. Somehow in the process they became one of Flushing's most popular businesses, becoming a pseudo destination for not just ramen, but don bowls, sushi, and izakaya dishes. I think they've done a good job with the space overall, turning a cramped space into an otherwise functional layout, which is not all that different than one might see in Japan. (#1) Counter space seating, small tables with solid but darker ambiance making it a more intimate than open. The food has always been average at best. Their signature ramen bowls aren't particularly memorable broth wise and the onigiri leaves a lot to be desired. If I had to pick a ramen bowl, it would be their tonkotsu and pairing it with a gyoza or two is never a bad idea. I was more about their soba and mentaiko pasta back in the day, but I guess their okonomiyaki, karaage, and hamachi kama would be the only things I'd want to order. The real sell here is the drinking culture with all of their appetizers but I think it's hard to get excited when everything is just somewhere in the middle. For Japanophiles, this is not the place. I've gotten more of the server's attention speaking Korean, but that isn't saying much. The attitude of the staff has been a thorn for awhile now, and I don't think the food is beyond putting up with the slower than average wait times, along with their lack of professionalism. I'm hoping the management will recognize that this matters, especially for a Japanese inspired biz. The last time I checked, there is a $20 credit card minimum. Parking is strictly streetside, and sometimes getting the best of this place is to avoid the weekend crowds. Takeout is available, as are third party delivery apps. If push comes to shove, dining in (without a wait) is always the way to go. ___________ (#1) Or really, just a NYC thing.

I found this restaurant on Yelp and noticed they have a 4.5-star rating, so I decided to take my husband there. It turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Hashi Ramen and Izakaya is a small and casual izakaya with comforting bowls of ramen, rice, curry, noodles, and more. The service is slow but friendly, and the food is authentic and delicious. * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (Large) $18.00 Deliciously spicy, rich, and flavorful-- with a pork and chicken broth base, firm, chewy noodles, tender roasted pork belly, crunchy bean sprouts, sliced green onions, and a soft-boiled egg. I ordered a large, not knowing how huge the portions were, and left with my stomach nearly bursting. * Hashi Curry Rice with Tonkatsu $20.00 My first impression was "$20 for curry rice and tonkatsu? Phew, that's expensive." But honestly, this was the best curry rice with tonkatsu that I've ever had. The tonkatsu was astonishingly crispy and well-seasoned, and the curry was thick, flavorful, and nicely balanced with spices. This was my partner's dish, but I couldn't help stealing a slice of tonkatsu every now and then.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRRRR OH MY GOODNESS!!! Tonight my friend and I went for a quick bite after being at a funeral and were hoping to cheer up! All the chairs were up when We arrived at 856pm and already knew what we wanted to eat when we arrived the server/host JIN told us we couldn't be served we assured him we would be very quick and then he walked away and came back to tell us we could eat but only had 45 min. We sat ordered within the first 5 min after he asked us repeatedly what we wanted to order. Once we ordered he said to us we're closing so you have to pay. I paid and chose to not tip considering the very rude service we had been receiving. He then approached me and said "you need to pay a tip" I told him that we were being rushed to order and eat so I consider this more as a take out and chose not to tip. The food came by 910 and he told us we had 40 min to eat. I asked for a few things such as hot sauce or hot oil and was refused. At 938 he came up to me and said "CUSTOMER YOU MUST FINISH IN 5 min" and gave us to go boxes i made a comment to him and he said "no because no tip" i then said i didn't tip because you have been extremely rude to us since we got here. I asked to speak with a manager and he said no manager was there and walked away. Came back and said the manager wanted my number to call me and I said I will just call tomorrow and he said the manager will not be there tomorrow either. The food was great but this server created the worst experience I think I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. We left with our food at 950 and will never walk through those doors again! I want a refund and will be contacting the restaurant tomorrow!!!!!
