The food is delicious and economical! There is no Fuzhou snack fried razor clams that are spicy, which is a fly in the ointment.

OMG! Kan Wah Restaurant is a keeper. The food here is delicious. You know the food is good when you come back and order it a second time around.Trying to find a place for lunch. Notice Kan Wah Restaurant as I walked by. Look at the menus and ordered the Beef with Broccoli lunch special with Wonton soup. The food was cooked just right. I enjoyed the soup and the Wonton was not my thing. Prefer fried wontons instead. Will get that next time when I am in the neighborhood again.Yes, the place looks like a hole in the wall. Brings back so many memories of the take out restaurant growing up. Folks this is a busy establishment. Locals, students and patrons come to Kan Wah Restaurant to order entrees and lunches here. The line moves fast.Definitely be back soon to try their other lunch specials.

This is a review for dry-cooked beef chow fun. It is DELICIOUS. The noodles have the perfect chew, the onions, scallions, beef are also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Not too oily.Service is initially gruff.... (but that's how New York and Queens rolls), but once you crack a smile, a "thank you," the mean owner/manager quickly softens and is actually quite a nice guy. It's a complete hole in the wall and only takes cash. I wouldn't eat here - gross, but it's perfect for takeout.

Guy on the phone is very rude and can’t wait to hang up on customer

My family has been ordering food from here for years. For good Chinese-American cuisine, it will get the job done. Nothing fancy, nothing "authentic," but the food is good. The cook knows what he's doing with the fried rice and other "classic" dishes (General Tso, Sesame Chicken, etc.). Free delivery, if you're within their radius, and very quick too. Like most places, they're Cash-Only and honestly, that's fine. There is another menu, but it's only in Chinese, so, unless you can read it, you might be missing out on some very special dishes.

Overpriced and tasteless. The lady at the counter could barely speak english, which isn’t a bad thing by itself but when your job is to take orders, it’s pretty important lol. New Wok’s kitchen is way better and cheaper but is about a 10-15 minute walk from this place. I only go here when the other one is closed or I’m desperate.

Neighborhood chinese spot. Has been here for many years, one of the old school flushing chinese food joints before the influx of all the new asian cuisine to the area. A+ rating all around, the pork fried rice and sesame chicken are the best. Also, very reasonably priced

I used to go to this place almost everyday however the service has been going down I often notice the would give less or the wrong order these days I'm fact today I ordered the lunch special however the charged me the same price and didn't give me the soup/soda so I pointed that out but then they gave me the wrong soup so I gave up and left

Something has happened at Kan Wah. Their food has always been good, but lately it has been superb. I had their Curry Chicken tonight and but was fantastic Everything has improved. Delivery times are fast And the service is still excellent. I can recommend them more enthusiastically than ever.

No nonsense Chinese fast food joint, best to order ahead and pickup as parking and delivery times are difficult to nail down.

The wings are to die for. But the prices seem to go up every couple months

Please God, never let anything ever happen to this place or I will die. ?
