If you’re trying out a new Korean-Chinese restaurant then all that matters is the Jjajangmyun and jjambbong. Tried both and they were delicious! Classic taste and healthy serving. My only critique is the potatoes in the jjajang sauce. Not a big fan. Other than that looking forward to coming back.

We were visiting from Atlanta where everyone always assumes the best Korean food can be found, but I politely disagree. Northern Boulevard, with all its humble storefronts, is where some of the tastiest hidden treasures can be found. I thought I knew where the best jjajangmyun, or black bean noodles, were, but in the time I've lived outside of New York, this noodle house has apparently and recently gained the reputation of the best jjajangmyun in town. There are tons of combination platters in case you're craving a variety of the most popular plates (with cleverly sectioned off bowls that keep the two entrees separate), but I went straight for my tried and true order of black bean noodles and especially appreciated that there was a vegetarian variety for non-meat eaters like me. I've never seen whole broccoli florets in my black bean sauce but I appreciated the healthful touch. Plus everyone else at the table who ordered the regular kind seemed to be gazing enviously at my verdant pops of veg.The noodles are fresh, with just the slightest toothsome quality, and the sauce was just as delicious as my parents promised it'd be. We also ordered some of the spicy battered shrimp, which ended up being a little softer than I'd like, but when a dish is so saucy, it's hard to maintain a crunchy batter. This was our very first meal after our plane touched down in New York, and it'll likely be where I have every first meal henceforth when I visit.

Limited menu options. Also beware that you get the correct change. We gave him a $100 bill for a $75 check. He did not bring back change and we had to ask. He then gave us $15 back and I had to tell him it was wrong before he gave us $25. Bro thought I was leaving a $25 tip???

The seafood pancake was very good and was slightly crispy. It came with this amazing hot sauce with green chilis. The kimchi and radish banchan were spicy. Each noodle dish is enough for 2 people. My friend got the seafood knife-cut noodles and the broth had an intense seafood flavor. They were out of their cold knife-cut noodles so I got the cold soybean soup noodles for the first time. It was pretty bland but I think that's the style of the dish. The restaurant is clean.

Came here by Waze accident, wanna give it a try. The chicken noodle is a light way soup which is what I like. The noodles are chewy. Love the kimchi is not that sweet. Some places kimchi are too sweet. Service is good and polite. Left a review as a support for such a good family restaurant.
