I visit this spot a lot since I work nearby. I love how the service is always fantastic and they keep the place neat all the time. Prices are reasonable and they serve big portions.

This is a little gem on the outskirts of Flushing. Their curries are sublime - my family always gets either the chicken or beef rice noodles (ho fun) curry. The flavors are sharp, distinct, and spicy - just how you want a curry to be. It's clear from the quality of the flavors and texture that the curries are made from scratch (not a watery powder mix like some establishments serve). I can tell that the ho fun is house-made fresh when you order - soft, paper-thin, translucent sheets of rice noodles - not the factory-produced rubbery ropes that are all too common in Flushing nowadays. The noodles soak up the rich curry broth, and it's just an absolute delight to eat. And every time I eat there, the dishes are served straight from the kitchen window (you can actually see the chefs cooking) piping hot. The service is prompt, and always friendly. I see the same faces every time I go and they are consistently professional and efficient. I can't recommend this place enough!

Reality rating 3.5. I can't fathom why this restaurant is always empty like a desert, no matter...more chances for me to find a seat! I think the food is overall decent for the area, can't say it can compared to other Malay restaurants but it gets the job done. Everytime I come here, I usually try a different dish which can be a hit or miss, so I'll cover the basic go to's I order. Chicken satay: a bit on the sweeter side but good 4/5 Sizzling tofu: the first time I had a dish like that was in another restaurant called Sentosa. This place doesn't fully replicate that specific dish, but its warm, sizzling, and has plump smooth flavorful tofu. Also they add some egg at the bottom so it's a bit crispy. 5/5 Hainan chicken: pretty standard, smooth skin and meat with sweet soy sauce. 4/5 Chicken rice: you cant have Hainan chicken without the rice! Not as salty versus what I've had at other places but still delicious and flavorful 4/5 Pineapple fried rice: an okay dish but sometimes the pineapple pieces were sour 3/5 Service: always decent. I've had takeout and dining experience with them. There was one time the older manager lady didn't know how to input orders into the computer, but other than that didn't have any trouble. Sometimes they give dessert soups at the end of the meal, I have yet to figure out what I had to do to get it. Is it worth traveling to? Not really. Is it a good choice for a quick bite and skip the waiting at other restaurants, you betcha.

Came here once when it first opened many years ago and decided to come again. They changed owners and became an Asian fusion restaurant with Chinese food lunch specials. The Thai iced tea is nicely displayed in a mason jar, but is a bit too sweet and milky. The roti canai is freshly made and the curry is pretty decent. The satay tofu is not as good as I remember it to be. My mom likes curry noodles, but the shrimp noodles are not good at all. The indo chow mein was pretty delicious though.

The name hides the fact that it's a good Malaysian restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem in the area. I ordered satay and it's among the best in NYC. Big and succulent portions and still affordable. The lady finger belacan shrimp is legit. Ice tea is thick, sweet and creamy and simply delicious. I don't know why its not busy, probably due to all cash requirement, but it's better than many other crappy restaurants around the area. I will definitely come back.
