Recently an old friend of mine traveled from Florida and we have met up in Flushing NY. After our meeting I took him to my Favorite Asian BBQ restaurant.. That was amazing because since the pandemic I haven't visited yet. The place has been renovated and the food is astonishing... The price is not cheap but decent.. is the food experience... That's great.. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience Asian in New York....

Went solo on a Wednesday evening after work at 8PM sharp. Was told immediately by a female staff member that the restaurant does not allow customers to dine alone. I often dine alone because sometimes, after a long day at work, a person just wanna eat, right!? I'm usually in and out (less than an hour sometimes, like 40 min if I'm super hungry). I often leave a generous 30-40% tip. I'm not rich, nor am I bragging, but he reason is I understand sometimes that I'm taking up an entire table by myself, and I feel like service industry workers rely on gratuities. So after being rejected, I politely pleaded with the staff member explaining that I often dine alone. The restaurant was almost empty, mind you. There were approximately 3 tables with about 6 or 7 total guests. For people that know this spot, they are almost always empty I really don't know how they're able to remain in business. You would think they would appreciate any customers coming in. I even told the staff member that I would pay for 2 people ( I most likely was joking, but if she called my bluff I would've paid LOL). She then explained that it's management policy. It's not their fault but management. I then see a small sign stating that the minimum is 2 guests. I just can't fathom how and why, though, but it's all good. I then exited and walked to picnic garden where they happily let me dine in solo lol.

Absolutely horrible experience. didn't even get to eat. Told me they only serve parties of 2 and above, even though their signs says they will charge extra for someone eating alone, which I agreed to pay.

I regret that I didn’t read the online reviews carefully before coming here. Life is already so difficult. A single guy who wanted to eat some meat after working out was kicked out with contempt by the poker-faced Korean lady. If I were her, I would tell the guest very gently that you can’t do it alone. Eat BBQ but you can order separately! But she didn't, she just asked me to leave. When I came out, I saw that there were separately ordered cold noodle soup, roast beef and other meals posted on the window outside, but I didn't want to go back.
If you’re craving for Korean BBQ with a crazy selection that’s also all you can eat, look no further. New York K-BBQ located on Northern Blvd in Flushing is the place for you. Can’t find street parking? There’s two levels of underground parking right under the building. Take the elevator up and their friendly staffs will prep your table while you rush to grab everything you want to eat. Rows of delicious and fresh food from desserts to meats to veggies to soups to noodles and rice. Fire up the infrared grill and start cooking. Listen to the sizzling juicy meats cook and dip in your favorite sauce. Sound appetizing right? Go try and make sure you starve yourselves before you go to get your money’s worth. You got 120 minutes to eat as much as you can. Countdown starts now!Monday - ThursdayLunch 29.95Dinner 39.95Friday - Sunday & Holidays42.95

I was turned away because I was dinning alone and the place was completely empty. I wasn’t even asked if I was willing to pay for the up charge for the table to be seated alone. Cast Iron Pot didn’t give me this problem.

Food was scrumptious and service was great! Im not bothered about the automatic 18% gratuity BUT they need to know how to calculate it. It seems deceiving because they include the tax along with the total amount which is wrong. When you tip at any establishment the standard is to calculate pre-tax not post tax.We addressed it to the server and she seemed not to understand our complaint. Then someone else approached us and said he can’t change it in the system. This is indeed false because I told him I work FOH (server) job and then all of a sudden he adjusted it for me.Moral of the story: Complain if they charge you 18% gratuity rate on top of the post-taxed bill. They CAN change it if you address it to them.Thats why I’m leaving a 4 star review

Fantastic Korean BBQ all you can eat restaurant. We went on a Saturday evening and they had a good selection of Korean meats and seafood. In addition to the BBQ selection, they have some Korean dishes, California rolls, salads, fruit and ice cream for dessert. As for the service, all of the wait staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. The space is large and there are many tables. What I appreciate most is that the buffet area is kept clean and tidy. We have been to this buffet 5 times in total since its opening and never have seen the buffet area messy, as has been the case with other all you can eat buffets in the area. The free parking garage is a plus. Will definitely be back.

This place says it close at 11:30pm on Thursdays and it’s 10:30pm and they told us they already closed. I’m so disappointed because we arrived 1 hour before and they didn’t let us go in, specially because it’s raining. Never come back again to this place ?
