I love the food but there's a lot of drunk people all the time drinking and yelling and even trying to talk to you the food is great and it would be greater if it just become a restaurant not a bar

If you're looking for fancy schmancy, then read no more. Nuevo Chilla Restaurant is an unassuming place along the block of 104th st. I had no idea this place existed until my friend seemed to disappear into a wall. The inside is so spacious compared to the outside. If this were a spy movie, this would be one of the places to exchange sensitive info imo. My friend already knew what he wanted so there was no menu. We got the oxtail with rice. The oxtail was tender and the texture was like pulled pork. The soupy sauce was rather bland. In addition to the star attraction, there was a generous platter of white rice. The meal in its entirety was pretty filling. Some of the utensils were not very clean, so keep your eyes peeled.

This is one of my girlfriends favorite restaurants to go to when in Corona. She had been telling me about this place for awhile and we finally went tonight and HOLY S#$T, THIS FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! Its a great mix of Spanish & Asian done right. We ordered the Steak Special with fried plantains along with a big pot of yellow rice with shrimp. The steak was amazing served with grilled onions and the rice was cooked just right. The place itself is nothing special and you could easily walk by it. But it is definitely a hidden gem in Corona. Will definitely be back again!!!

This review is probably one of my most important. Mainly because I have so many childhood memories growing up and going to a former restaurant that closed because the owner moved location. The staff is very friendly and welcoming (one man I've known since I was 5...mind you I'm 28). I love the food here. My all time favorite is bistec palomilla with the fried rice and tostones along with a batido de mamey. I love going back there and always manage to find a way to arrive there no matter whether I am in LI, NYC or NJ. It's so damn yummy!
