Janchi means "a feast" in Korean, which helps imply that this shop does catering. What's little known is that you can walk in and see that they have ready to eat Korean food ready, which you can eat at home, bring to a potluck, or take to a picnic. Some of their offering includes soups and stews, variety of banchan (Korean side dishes), Korean fried pancakes, boneless Korean-style chicken, and kimbap. They also have bags of frozen dumplings you can keep in the freezer (beef, kimchi, leek, and spinach & kale). They have about 8 kimbap choices and they're made fairly well. My only real complaint is that their spicy tuna rolls need improvement. The spice level is great, but for some reason they mix imitation crab meat in with the tuna. They also don't stuff the kimbap as well as other Kimbap places nearby, such as the one next to the Enterprise rental.

The kimbap here is excellent! My friend ordered a regular kimbap and a fish cake kimbap (~$5 each) and a japchae (also $5) and everything was fresh (the lady made the kimbap on the spot) and delicious. It's a small place, there isn't room for sitting really but if you want to grab a quick and inexpensive snack/meal, there's a bunch of things to choose from here and the customer service is wonderful!
