Small cozy taiwanese restaurant that serves exceptionally good hot pot unlike any other in queens. Offers a variety of Taiwanese style tapas. My favorite is the "stinky" tofu. Love it!!! To finish off a meal I ordered from the dessert menu shave ice Taiwanese style. They're the best. Since I eat out a lot this is the kind of place I can go on a regular...until this hidden gem gets too popular and I cant get a table anymore.

Not as great as Spring but good enough to almost satisfy my shabu/hot pot cravings. The size is a bit smaller than what I expected but enough to finish it without wasting food! Quiet environment.

I ordered at this place because all another place were closed. So I choose : salmon avocado roll, California roll and special Hot lady roll. The price was huge for these 3 sets , but I was ok with this. I wanna help business in this quarantine time. But what I get it were TERRIBLE! The California roll was one small lump with something. Not roll at all ! All sets were looking bad and kinda 2-3?days from fridge. They also gave just 1 set chopsticks. That I was frustrated it is say nothing. Never again I will order here even if I will be starving!

I ordered take out @9 pm and it is currently 11:11pm and my food is still not here. I called the restaurant. The person I spoke with said they would check where the driver is. However after 5 mins of being left on the call I hung up and called but 5 times but no one picks up the phone. Horrible service. I don’t want sushi after mid- night.

I kept hearing the term "hot pot" but didn't know what it was. So glad I decided to give Little Sheep a try. It was an excellent experience. Once I told the server that this was my first time visiting a restaurant with this concept, he could not have been more patient explaining how it worked and making recommendation on the best way to order. I can't express how much I value that level of service. There was even a little "cheat sheet" on the table which helped guide you through the process. The food itself was fresh and delicious and the best part, in my opinion, you can enjoy everything while it is still piping hot! My only regret is that I was traveling by myself so I couldn't enjoy this fabulous meal with anyone else. This is definitely a concept which, I'm sure, is better shared with others. I agree with one of the other reviewers that it is surprisingly, reasonably priced for NYC . Great job Little Sheep and thanks for making my first experience with hot pot such a enjoyable one - all the best!

The service here is literally awful. The owner never cancels orders, he never is willing to issue refunds and the food is always a disappointment. I will never order here again and will ensure my colleagues never do either. Sad they’re still in business with how they treat guests. I’m not surprised that they said their store is closed on yelp. They were over the negative reviews.

The food is great and the service is even better. We like the place a lot and want to go back next day but it needs 2 hours waiting time since a very cold night. Too bad we can’t do it. Another good one is this place takes credit card no need cash only.

Tried this place with my best friend when she was back during her break. It's not bad, but also nothing spectacular. Maybe it's because I had it multiple times when I was in Hong Kong months ago. I got the regular and it was fine. Nothing really to rave about. It's hot pot in a small pot in front of you. This concept is cute and Pot Pa is bringing this to Queens. I don't seem to see any other place that does this yet. The size was filling and the staff were nice so I left satisfied. The bubbling is pretty strong so watch out because it might get on your clothes or scald you. I'll come again if I'm craving for this!

Been here a few times and it's pretty good. The wait staff is nice and the food comes fairly quickly. Their hotpot is in individual preset orders mixed with different things depending on which one you choose. They do use those self-burning rock things at the bottom of your pot instead of a fire you an control so I've had my soup burn away too quickly once because the fire was too large and we had to put it out. Otherwise the flavor of the soup is pretty good and you get a decent amount of food for the price. Every pot comes with either vermicelli noodle or rice as well. Since this is Taiwanese-style hotpot the price in proportion might not be as worth as compared to many AYCE hotpot places but otherwise still good to give it a try!

Came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends and got their #2 (Exotic Pork Essence hot pot) What I like about this is the portioned quantity and individual pots that each person gets, with just the right amount of each veggie / noodle / meat (some might view this as a con because of buffet style hotpots, but at the end of this meal you can be guaranteed to walk out, and not have to be rolled out). What's not so great with this is that because everything comes pre-assembled, everything will continue to boil at the same rate throughout your entire meal, so if you are a slower eater like me, by the end of the meal some of the food will have disintegrated. Food: 4/10 Place: 4/10 Price: 5/10

I checked online it stated that they open at 11:30am I walked in at 11:50am thinking that its already opened and they said they open at 12pm. So word of advice! Walk in after 12pm for your hotpot! I order the Taipei style spicy pot, it wasn't as flavorful and spicy as I wanted it to be. It was still good, its a perfect meal for a cold new york day! But I definitely had better broth! I also try to order taro bubble tea and they said it wasn't available that early... which was a bummer=/. I was really looking forward to it

Saw all the raving review about this place and decided to do a dinner date here. We ordered two individual hot pots and the presentation was beautiful. Service was great the staff members were very attentive. But the broth was overly salty and the quality of ingredients were lacking vibrancy. If you hot pot often the main components are having a great variety of items and the quality of vegetables and meats are has to be on-point. I do like the idea of the place but I miss the ability to control your temperature and the 'woks' are too small to cook the ingredients properly. All and all decent concept but I won't stray far from my usual treks at Spring or Mister Hot Pot.

This is a very interesting Taiwanese hot pot place. I've never done the whole Taiwanese Hotpot before, so it's very different from the other hot pot places i'm used to. My buddy and i came here for lunch on a quiet Sunday and quiet it was. This was good because we wanted to have a place that we could chat with light music playing above us and no one listening to our conversation. Anyway what did we order? I had the #1 Special and my buddy had the #10, whatever it was. His broth was slightly sweet and had a ton of stuff in it. Mine was flavorful but also had a uniqueness that i wasn't quite sure what it was. Both were very good as it was nice and hot the entire time we ate, but when that broth was getting low, the waiter came by with more "soup" which was a generic stock that changed the flavor of the hot pot completely, which, is par for the course of hot pot, but i'd rather lower the flame under it and keep more of the original broth. Anyway we ate, had tea, not got chased away (the restaurant wasn't crowded) and hung out for an hour and a half before taking our leave and heading home. The food was good, and having an individual hot pot is nice, but having everything already added in is not to my liking.

My sister and I came, having seen the Yelp reviews saying this place was good. Looking at the pictures just made me salivate to try this Taiwanese styled hot pot, but it really disappointed me. Broth: it was okay. My sister had a hot pot with seafood in it, and the broth had a very fishy taste to it, the kind that you don't want to taste in a broth. Ingredients: Pretty poor quality. Most of the ingredients were frozen packaged fish cakes which is honestly okay because thats how most fish cakes are like, but the crab meat was also prepackaged, so essentially the value of the hot pot is not worth much although the hot pot is pretty highly priced for inexpensive ingredients. The beef was also overcooked, so it was a bummer. Service: It was good. Attentive staff. The hot pot wasn't THAT bad, but I could have honestly went to Shabu Shabu in Flushing to get hot pot and get pretty much get the same quality food as here, but better. Just was not impressed by the quality of the food, although presentation was nice.

Taiwan hotpot trend has finally moved to NYC! Beware!! This restaurant serves so much stinky tofu, once you enter- that smell will hit your face. Each person gets to eat from their own wok pot for $14.99. All hotspots came with choice of rice or rice noodle. Our group ordered: #1 Signature dish special: Soup was delicious, lots of tofu and veggies. #6 Nippon curry: curry soup diluted curry sauce. #7 Taipei spicy: lots of different fish balls. #8 Korean fusion beef, spicy kimchi soup base. #9 braised pig feet: knuckles meat were tender. Appetiser Stinky tofu: was among the best in Flushing. Stinky tofu came with grounded red pepper. Portions were plentiful. Plating was beautiful. Service was fast. If you shared on Wechat, there is a 5% discount. I took the bus back to Main Street, a passenger was sniffing the stinky tofu smell. LOL.
