Normal Chinese bakery, not bad, and close to the botanical gardens. Note: No longer has wifi though!

It's your average Chinese bakery, with nothing too unusual. I came here on a weekend afternoon with a friend, and it was pretty packed, with a group of senior citizens huddled in both corners for their frequent get-together. It's a pretty clean and nice environment. Their milk tea has certainly changed from when i came here 2 years back, price changes from $1.50 to $1.85, not terrible given the economy. Bread section looks very decently priced, will have to try one soon. Overall it met my expectations but nothing too special.

I recently visited Rose Cake House. The name of the place caught my attention and prompted me to stop by. However, upon entering, I found that the interior did not match the name. On the positive side, the chocolate cake was well-flavored and soft which made it enjoyable to eat. The prices were reasonable. The bakery also offered a custom frozen theme design cake option which was nice. They have a variety of options available including hot and cold drinks, pastries and cakes. Service was at a timely matter.

Very local place always with a posse of seniors shooting the breeze outside. Usually quiet until the seniors start debating then expect fireworks lol.The coffee is about what you would expect.
