This place has changed a lot since I last came here. Looks like the place was renovated with a clean look and an open concept. I'm glad to see that they still offer valet parking but I haven't had any issues the last two times I came here. Things we ordered: 1. galbi - I did not have but it was liked on the table. 2. samgyupsal - I did not have but it was liked on the table. 3. fried mackerel - a large portion and grilled maybe slightly over. But I did not mind it. 4. soonduboo jigae - I actually liked it here. Pretty flavorful. 5. duboo kimchi - I did not have but every liked it. Has some duk into too. 6. bibim naengmyun - disappointing as it had no flavor and noodles were overcooked. Banchan here was overall good but not the best that I've had. The first time we came they gave us free spicy gejang which was nice. I think the real knock here is the service. They often miss and forget things that you ask for. We had to flag them a few times. Overall, I'd go back and would recommend.

Steamed seafood. Prices rise, seafood disappears,Even bean sprouts have decreased.

Business is going well. So it's unfriendly. When I told him I was going to return the waiting ticket and go, was it greedy to expect him to say with a smile, “I’m sorry I’m so busy, please stop by next time”, regardless of whether or not he looked like that.

The marinated meat was okay; next time, we'll explore other menu options. The side dishes were pleasing, and the atmosphere was cozy with friendly service. Not to mention, the cinnamon drink after the meal was refreshingly delicious.

I've always wanted to try this place out since it's been here forever, so I made it a deal to go for Valentines day. Food was quite good and portions were alright. We ordered combo #7, seafood pajeon, seafood soondubu and definitely all the flavors hit the right spots. The seafood pancake was crispy, the beef from the Lucky combo was tender and juicy, and the soondubu had just enough seasoning and flavor where it wasn't overpowering. The only thing I can comment on is that none of my servers knew anything besides Korean, but that just goes to show how authentic the flavors of this place are. Would definitely come again for a future occasion. Deducted half a star since the price tag was on the higher end, but definitely worth a go despite its mediocre reviews on yelp.

Must try the marinade short ribs is very tender & juicy. Also, the Korean seafood pancake is super duper crispy. The pork combo was normal as well. The service is fantastic, we dine in like an hour before they closed. They didn't rush us n keep refill the side dishes n tea for us.

There is wagyu listed on the menu for $85, but the servers couldn’t answer what kind of cut or how many ounces per order. We ordered it anyway and hoped for the best. What we got was a ribeye that was not wagyu. I’ve seen more marbling in the ribeyes I get at Costco (not a knock on Costco steaks). Although it was a decent sized steak, I’d guess around 16 oz, that would cost much more if it were wagyu, $85 is too much for what it actually was. The non-marinated prime short rib was tougher than expected for how marbled it was. The pork belly was standard. Good things: nice restaurant layout, good ventilation, and service is excellent. I grew up nearby and want local businesses to do well but having spent $200 on our meal before tip, also wish I had this information before so we could have ordered differently.

Honestly, there aren't many stars. I don't want to give any stars.I ordered stir-fried pork tofu and kimchi today and picked it up.But for stir-fried tofu and kimchi, they used kimchi that wasn't even ripe at all.I used pork belly in the raw kimchi, but it was so oily. I think I'll get arteriosclerosis if I eat this.No matter how much pork belly was used, it felt like stir-fry marinated in some kind of oil.It was harder to eat.And first of all, isn't kimchi the most important thing in kimchi stir-fry?If you're going to use unripe kimchi, it's better to just wrap the tofu in cabbage kimchi and eat it.I thought it would be much better.Of all the stir-fried pork kimchi I've ever had in my life, this was the first time it was this bad.So I called and they said that the original stir-fried pork kimchi was made with unripe kimchi. There was no polite apology or any other action taken.I don't know if the price is good, but this thing costs $34!At that price, all the side dishes are kimchi... It's tofu kimchi, but the tofu is about half a tofu?I was really angry that I was paying $34 for such tasteless food.Plus, the woman answering the phone seems to be the owner! A woman who speaks in dialect. It's him.I couldn't be that rude when speaking to a customer. Even screamingMy husband got really angry because I insisted, so I had a hard time trying to stop him from going after me right away. When I told them I was leaving a review, they told me to leave it confidently. lolI read the reviews here and there were a lot of comments saying they were unfriendly. What kind of service industry is this?I have been here many times with my family and even had my first birthday party here.I feel like I did something crazy and I regret it so much. Actually, the food was terrible even back then.Still, it was a good day so I endured it.Although this place is expensive, I wonder if it tastes good. The price and taste aren't that great.I ordered it thinking it might have gotten better for the first time in a while, but where can the taste go?If possible, it would be better to go to another Korean restaurant.
