Hidden gem for Korean food in Flushing. Open very late with high quality meals. The meals come with the best sides and the dishes are very generous. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty late night spot.

While the food is great, it is clear that they have a preference towards a certain type of clientelle and that those that don't fit that type are treated far less favorably. I have never noticed this before as we only come during less busy times but it's glaringly obvious during busy hours. I was so upset but didn't want to spoil the evening with a guest we brought along but lesson learned. I will never go back to this place again and be treated as a second class citizen.

Decided to go in because I had an hour before my train arrived and it was snowing. The food was great, they even gave me an egg souffle on the house. Unfortunately the food was still too hot and I didn't want to take too long because I didn't want to miss my train. So I asked for a takeout bag and ordered a soju so i could have some stuff for my trip to Manhattan. But then when I was walking down the stairs to the lirr the takeout bag broke and everything spilled and it ended up making me miss the train... And the next one was at 4 am, in two hours! All the while it's snowing outside. So I went back to ziggle just to escape the weather and I told them what happened and they had no empathy at all. They told me it was my fault the bag broke, so it's not their problem. I just wanted to stay somewhere inside warm and away from the snow since I missed my train, but they had no sympathy at all. They just told me to please leave since they close at 3. The kicker is I was having a panic attack so I took my anxiety medicine and the waiter had the gall to take half of my pill. Didn't even offer to replace the food and alcohol that spilled due to the flimsy plastic bag that they gave me, even though I left them a nice tip. Disappointing how coldhearted humans can be...Never spending my money here ever again and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Doesn't matter if the food is good, if the workers and the environment is toxic then it's just bad energy you should avoid. Typing this review while waiting for my train in the freezing snow and suffering from frostbite. Some people are just so callous it hurts.

Another place that has amazing side dishes.. overall the experience was good, but main dishes were slightly oily for me.We got lunch special to try different dishes.Spicy fried pork was delicious but oily. Really go well with rice tho.The beef ribs was the same.My friend liked the fish the most.Worth to visit still, the taste in general was similar to restaurants in Korea.

Tofu soup is the best, comes with traditional rice, free steam egg. Unlimited side dishes. The server are very friendly and nice. Most importantly. Can’t missed the dessert mango shave ice. It’s Highlight of the meal.

I ordered the Beef bulgogi combo with Tofu soup and the total came out to about $35. At first sight, it looked great, but the portion size for the beef bulgogi was a bit disappointing. It was really small for takeout. In the end, after spending $35 for a single meal, I was a bit hungry. The taste is nothing to rave about either. The beef was a bit tough and bland. It seemed like it was steamed and not stir-fried. The tofu stew was actually really good. I enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend it. Overall, would I spend $35 on this combo meal again? The answer is a NO. The portion size for takeout and the taste of the beef bulgogi is not worth the $35. Honorable highlight goes to the tofu stew (the side dish) lol

We came here for a bday celebration. The minute we stepped into the restaurant, we felt very welcomed as if visiting a friend's home. We came for a late lunch, arriving around 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. We had kids, so we liked that the food came out ready to eat and it was delicious! I'd recommend the tofu soup. I love that we could adjust the spicy-ness so that the kids can enjoy it too. The seafood pancake was sooo good, it was gone in an instant. We got the short ribs, bulgogi, teriyaki chicken, bibimbap, and OH MY GOODNESS the mango shaved ice was so YUM! My foodie nephew who has eaten his way round town said it was the best he's had. Def get the shaved ice.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Flushing. For years I went 2-3x a month and brought friends whenever they were visiting. The curry soondubu is gone, replaced by a sesame beef that had no sesame flavor. The beef was crumbly and the soup had less flavor, salt, and spice than the kits I buy at H-mart. We asked for level 4 out of 5 spice and it came out spiceless, mild. The rice is no longer in hot stone bowls, drastically diminishing the crispy rice potential. The spicy chicken and cabbage was replaced with “Teriyaki chicken”The appetizer serving is 1/3 smaller than before. There’s an extra charge for using credit card now too. Glad we had cash. The ambiance and service are still nice. But seeing my all time favorite reduced to “okay” is sad.Maybe I’ll come back on another day to see if mushroom soondubu is better. ??

It's not bad, but for the prices I was honestly expecting a bit more. Takeout soondubu was fine, but the seafood soondubu had a total of like 7 pieces of seafood, and the beef soondubu barely constituted a "beef" soondubu. If the prices were cheaper then it would warrant an occasional visit.

Ever since BCD (Bayside) closed, I've been on the hunt for a soondubu replacement. Saw Ziggle on my search and decided to bring my parents there. There were only two waitresses but they did a good job handling all the orders and tea refills. That's why they get that extra star. As for the food, we got seafood pancake, dumpling tofu stew, kalbi plus stew and grilled eel. Everything was OK but the only thing we would get would be the short ribs, seafood tofu stew with noodles and maybe the eel.My hunt continues.
