The restaurant is small, not easy to discover. But I’m surprised by the quality of the food and the serving speed! First time coming so we decided to order what people recommend. Beef Momo absolutely sizzler is amazing! I love how thin and momo skin is! The handpulled Tibetan noddle soup is very hearty!

Food was good but the waiter guy attitude is very rude .I am sure cox of him .I don’t feel like visiting this restaurant. If you cant afford to work that job or if you dont have enough skill to work a higher paying job, then dont take your anger out on a customer .Although I tipped handsomely,If any of our customer doesn’t tip you well.Dont show your attitude or abuse them .Go and find better paying job .You are NOT married to this job .

always a pleasure coming back to spicy tibet and getting some good tibetan food. this is a family owned and local restaurant and i've been coming here for the past 7 years or so. they have the BEST momos in new york and i've been to many tibetan restaurants. the service and staff are so tentative and it feels like you're eating at your family's home. highly recommend here!

I like their sha bhakleb. Rest of food is okay at best. Customer service is bad though. Front desk girl is very rude. I misspoke on my order and after I corrected myself, she tells me “why didn’t you say that first.” And when I confronted her about her rudeness, she tells me “it’s your fault, you ordered wrong.” I couldn’t believe how rude this girl was and I’m their regular customer. It’s almost like she was quitting the job and was taking one last swing. Suffice to say, they don’t have to deal with me anymore.Edit: They gave me someone else’s number for manager’s number too. I tried calling and every time it’s a guy that starts yelling at you for calling. Not even surprised they’d do that.

This is purely for the service that was rendered this morning, by the front desk staff at Spicy Tibet. The customer came in and placed an order to go; the front desk staff put in the order and handed him the bill. When the customer saw the bill, he realized that he had made a mistake in the amount to be ordered, so he immediately rectified it. All this happened within a matter of seconds, but this was apparently "too much" for the staff to handle. The staff proceeded to point out that it was customer's fault and took it a notch further by complaining in a language that she thought that he would not understand. To the staff's bad luck, the customer did speak the same language, so he gave her some pointer on how the staff should deal with customers regardless. The staff was very condescending!! I have been to spicy tibet for years loved the food, but today was absolutely "NOT OKAY".

This place is a 10/10. Not sure why it doesn't have 5 stars. 100 percent Authentic Tibetan cuisine. Modest size menu, not so many options it's paralyzing. The dishes are superb, a hidden gem in the heart of Queens. The cost is VERY inexpensive, portion sizes are large, the value is unbeatable. The type of place you would see being reviewed by Anthony Bourdain. If your looking for great food made by the Tibetan community, this is it. The value is unmatched. Fast and polite service.

Yum yum yum. My favorite place to eat. Their laphing, chicken chilly and shablay are the best. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Clean environment, clean bathroom. Services are pretty fast and smooth. A little more expensive than other tibetan restaurant but worth every penny.
