The have combo menu if you're there by yourself. Like me! Hahaha... Tofu sundubu and the pork bbq sooooo gooooddd!!!! As well with the Japchae. Big portion!!!

This place was so so busy on a weekend. I wonder if it normally is this jam packed on a weekday as well. I'm curious. Went since my friend highly recommended this place. She took us there too raving about it. Now, I'm glad that I went. Everything from the service to the food was good. Just the bathroom was a bit gross. We ordered a whole array of food. I must say that the meat we ate was so tender and the way it was marinated was yummy too. It was their house special beef. It was a bit on the pricey side, but the amount of side dishes given and the service made up for it. We did get other things, but it wasn't as memorable.

As a Korean person who has eaten at many Korean bbq places, I came here thinking to eat delicious Korean bbq. We ordered the Sung Book Dong special galbi to bbq at the table. Our server grilled the meat and served it to us. I picked up one piece up with my chopsticks and put it in my mouth. I nearly cried. It was literally better than just delicious. It was tender and marinated to perfection. It was absolutely worth the price of what is typically super expensive at a Korean bbq restaurant. Our server came with a variety of Korean side dishes which the fun part of a Korean meal and they were delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Great quality of Galbi and my favorite raw blue crab for service! Place is really clean and side dish was good . I actually am going to go there again tonight to try Jumuluk rib eye . I dont know how to say it in English but I believe it's chunk marinated rib eye steak. I can't wait to try their fish too.

Very happy we gave Sung Book Dong another chance. The food is delicious. The 2 women working the entire place were so hard working and helpful. The amount of ban Chan they give you is incredible. They also updated their vent hoods. We highly recommend.
Food tasted great and loved the side dishes they gave out. Food was fresh. Was not a fan of the water / tea. Cups were dirty and not washed well. And when i asked for refills they poured a tiny amount. Overall recommend solid spot to try out.

The new owners of the last few years have really made this a very good place for Korean BBQ and other dishes. I only go for the BBQ. The meat is always excellent and the service is very attentive. Lots of tasty little side dishes. It is the best in the Douglaston, Little Neck and Great Neck and surrounds has to offer. It's has made a great addition to my circuit of favorite places to eat. The price is a little higher, but it is worth it.

Celebrated my sister's 40th birthday there and it couldn't have been better! Food was so good! We had the Korean Pancakes, dumplings, bibimbap, and 3 meats to grill and all were on point They even let me bring a cake that they helped store and surprise her at the end of the meal. Wonderful staff all around!

First time trying this place, the restaurant has a shared parking lot and the interior is not very spacious but has a clean and quiet atmosphere. Marinated beef short loin - good quality, and well seasoned 8/10 Marinated duck - was not marinated?? came frozen and also very small portion 5/10 Sliced pork belly - thick slices, can't really go wrong with this dipped in the sesame oil salt 8.5/10 Budae jjigae - super duper salty but on a cold day it hits the spot, solid sausages spam ramen tofu and beef stew 8.5/10 Notable side dishes - the seaweed, watercress (?), soft tofu, and also a plate of octopus that was 10/10 Overall the prices were pretty standard for a kbbq place, paid about $140 for 4 people and we left pretty satisfied. Definitely would consider returning here

Finally found a great place for korean bbq that doesn't require me to drive to over crowded and barely any parking Flushing or Bayside! Apparently this place was featured by a few week known you tubers but didn't know that till I got there and their walls were plastered with pictures and articles. Food was abundant and delicious. Their variety of bahnchan (side dishes) was nice and everything was seasoned well too. Staff was really nice and attentive, anytime we ran low on a side dish, they were quick to bring more. Great for large groups and picky eaters too since their menu is pretty extensive. Will be back again over and over again.
