My go to Szechuan spot! Everything is always consistently delicious. The cauliflower and the chicken Szechuan are my favs! Must when when in flushing, you're not gonna regret it

Seriously some of the best Szechuan food I’ve had. Ever - not just in New York! Must come if you love spicy delicious Szechuan food. They’re currently running a promotion right now if you spin the wheel, you’ll get a certain prize :)

Pretty decent restaurant serving Szechuan cuisine. Food is pretty good but definitely very small portion. Price varies with some items being overpriced. Plenty of seats. Service was great.

Don't usually write reviews but since this place rarely ever has a line I need to make sure I help keep it in business. Easily the best Szechuan restaurant in NYC. It's a no frills super authentic spot which you can get into without having to wait. This restaurant has been around for over 30 years under a few different owners and slightly different variations of name but the food has remained pretty much the same the whole time.

Great option for authentic szechuan food. Was very pleased with the flavors here, and it was priced very reasonably given the portion sizes. We already knew we were in for good food when the other patrons were speaking in the Szechuan dialect. The menu had a lot of great options. We tried: -Dan Dan noodles: this was one of the better dan dan noodles that I've had. Really flavorful and the right amount of spice -Chengdu special: this consisted of a number of items (beef, fish, tripe, cabbage, probably others in a fairly typical Szechuan sauce). Its a huge bowl, but does not come with rice so you'd likely need to order that separately -Chong qing chicken: I usually get the pepper chicken at other places, and this was a nice change. It consists of fried chicken pieces with some different peppers. It was a different experience to the regular pepper chicken due to the lack of numbing peppers They also gave us this complimentary mung bean dish, which I also loved, mainly because the chilli sauce that they used was so delicious. Service is friendly and they speak English. Its a very short walk from the Skyview mall, and they validate parking there if you spend over $50

I had a lovely time dining here with my family. The dishes brought back of a bit nostalgia- I used to dine at Spicy & Tasty for about a decade (now closed). I enjoyed all of the flavors.

cam here with my siblings and we got the frog, a mushroom dish, the fried almost popcorn chicken, and a freebie (jelly with hot oil). my sister also got a beef noodle soup. all of the food was really good and service was fast! my favorites were probably the frog and the beef noodle soup; they were actually really good and very solid. i would strongly recommend coming here. they also offered us a subscription when we were done eating, but i dont come to flushing enough for one :(

This cute little restaurant off the main area of flushing Chinatown is where you can get the best value and tasty traditional Sichuan (or Szechuan) food. Their portions are big and tasty. My friend who is Sichuanese said the fish dish is the most authentic he had outside of China. Dont miss the fish dish!

How do you order 3 main/dinner dishes (averaging $23 a dish) for pickup and have to get into an argument with the OWNER after asking for rice and sauce? An argument with paying customers?! Not for a little more. For SOME. Even after offering to pay!“We don’t give sauces to customers.”A cuisine that’s based off of signature sauces. The question that came out after being handed two packets, “who do you normally give these to?”Condescending. Lying. Embarrassment of a service restaurant. Joke of a owner.

We loved it! This place food is great. Spicy lover or not. They have good food. A bit on the expensive side but i think it is worth it. My kids love it too. Will definitely comeback.

Came here like two minutes before they closed and luckily (for us), they were willing to take our order. I tried placing an order on the phone but some of the menu images on Yelp are a little outdated so it was confusing to order what we wanted. I ordered the spicy chicken with chili, spicy beef slice + tendon cold appetizer and some chili wontons. Honestly could probs do without the chili wontons, but they hit the spot for those who are craving spicy wontons. The spicy chicken is very worth it! They gave it to us in this aluminum tin and it was sealed tightly; there was so much spicy chicken that this stretched for two meals between two people. The peppercorns and chili tastes sooo good with rice! For those who like tendon, the spicy beef appetizer is great for you; super refreshing too on a warm day! They have a lot of lunch specials and dinner combinations I wish I noticed. Their portions are also pretty big and can def last more than a meal between two people.

Very bad take out experience! The lady behind the register is very aggressive and she messed up my order, I ordered shredded pork and she put eggplant on my order. I found out when I got home, it was so oily and impossible to eat. When I went back to tell she first blamed other servers and then deny it said I ordered the wrong thing. I mean as a Chinese, I do have the basic knowledge about the different between eggplant and pork! I feel so offended and the price is not reasonable almost $20 for a bowl of oily eggplant. Don't even bother to come here, there are so many better restaurants with reasonable prices in flushing area. Very dishonored owner!

The handful of classics we ordered were all among the best I’ve had in recent memory. That they all were without a single miss makes this a must return to spot.

Was very authentic and flavors were amazing! The only thing is some of the dishes can be a little oily. I recommend the braised fish and the husband and wife beef slices.
