This place is a very popular spot in Forest Hills. I have been here a few times and returned after watching a movie nearby. We stopped by dinner time and had to wait to get seated, which was not too bad. I ordered the curry ramen, which came with fried chicken. It was very dense and filling, so be prepared for that. It was also very flavorful, but I would recommend adding something light for the palate on the side such as radishes or pickled veggies.

We eat here at least once a week. My usual is Kara Veggie Miso Ramen. It is just the best. It is my comfort food. I grew up eating ramen. It feels like I came home whenever I eat here.

This place is so cute and low key! The food is delicious, I wasn't expecting the appetizers to be cold but it was okay, I ordered it. But the ramen was top notch, the noodles were a bit hard but it's okay. The service was impeccable. They checked in on us and were very attentive! I enjoyed this place a lot.

Been going here for years and I love it. Its great for date night or a night out with friends. Food is great. Always fresh and tasty. I always leave ferling so full. You get alot of food for the price you pay. Service and staff are very quick and polite. Highly recommend.

Ordered the Tamashii ramen from here for delivery and sad I forgot to take a picture! The broth was pretty flavorful and not too salty which I liked and the noodles were also pretty chewy. The chashu was also yummy. Some ramen places have rubbery chashu which I really don't like but this place was not like that. I'd definitely order from here again if I'm craving some Japanese ramen :)

I'd give this place negative 5 stars if it were possible. Waitstaff are lacking common sense and manners. My little son wanted to eat here after a grueling black belt test. He was so excited. The "matre'd" informs the wait will be 10 minutes. However, 40 minutes later and we're still waiting. A long wait at a restaurant isn't out of the question. However, no one has checked in with us, and we're the only people waiting. 6 people walk in and are seated immediately. Ok, still fine. Finally I ask the matre'd what's going on, and the matre'd becomes accusatory saying "you can see it's full!" Not the response I was expecting. I would have been satisfied with the standard response "apologies, but a table still hasn't opened up blah blah blah." I would have been more satisfied if the matre'd had popped by at least once to let us know of a new timeline other than 10 minutes. Remember, there were no other people waiting other than my family. It wasn't crazy hectic inside. It wasn't like it was easy to miss us. We were patient and a question is answered with a terse, snarky remark. Bedside manners are sorely lacking here. Btw the matre'd/waitress was there between 6-9pm on Saturday night at the forest hills location. Circular glasses. One bad waitress soured me and the wife from ever returning.

Love it. I come here each time I go to the cinema down the street. Food is always delicious, and the servers are attentive. Nice little place to enjoy dinner after a movie

delicious!!! I went here with my boyfriend and we both got two different meals/type of noodles as well as appetizers. He had cold noodles which were yummy and I had hot ramen with was sooo tasty. Different broths but both delicious. Dumplings were very good as well as the spring rolls. It's a very cute place and great service. The kitchen area is open so it's neat to watch them cook the noodles and prepare everything. Overall very good.

The food is ok, the ramen is bland and tasteless. Environment is ok. Not recommended.

This place is small so keep that in mind for bringing a carriage but they'll accommodate. Pork buns are So tasty. I had the miso ramen and it's pretty tasty the noodles were made perfect and it had a lot of flavor. Staff is friendly, it is first come first serve so get your name on the list.

Tamashii Ramen - $12.95 Broth - 1/5. It smell and taste like a chicken soup my mom would make (which not a huge fan BTW). While I know I ordered a "shio" soup base ramen, the experience was a turn off. Cha shu - 2/5. While the pork is charred the way I like it, it lacks flavor and is bland. The ratio of lean meat to fat is about 70 to 30. Noodles - 3/5. yellow egg thin noodles. Has a nice bounce and chew to it but it doesn't absorb the broth too much, which is it's saving grace. Side notes: Egg texture was great but could've been marinated longer. The marinate was very weak. Karaage - $7.75. 7 pieces. Two different dipping sauces. Dry AF. Taste like a popcorn you get from the frozen section at a super market. Avoid at all cost. I make it better. Pork buns - $7.95. 2 pieces. Nice smoky flavor. Wish it had a bit more fat on the meat. There was a thin layer of sauce but it was very overly sweet. Ebi potato - $6.25. 4 pieces. Small size shrimp wrapped with thick deep fried potato. The two dipping sauces were spicy mayo and bbq A1-ish sauce. Not sure what the hype is with the shrimp. Total - $38.00

Great ramen. I love their gyozas and the sizzling buta(pork). Highly recommend in Forest Hills!

The restaurant itself was nice, I came with my wife for a date night dinner and the ambiance was very cool. We were also able to find street parking easily but I imagine it can be very difficult depending how busy it is. We are both vegetarian and came here because they have a dedicated section for vegetarian ramen which uses a vegetarian broth. We tried ordering an appetizer of gyo-za but they didn't have any left. The ramen was good, but we were honestly expecting better. The bowl was warm, I wish it was a bit hotter temperature wise. Also, I opted for tofu as an add on, it was good but way too soft. It crumbled too easily and it ended up in small pieces all inside the ramen. I also asked for avocado but I didn't know it would be served on the side. Overall it was good food, might come back again to give it a second try.

Decided to try this place with my friend and I must say the atmosphere was cool, the service was great but the food wasn't all that. The soup I had lacked so much flavor and the portions are small. Basically was like top ramen soup with fresh veggies and 4 pieces of unseasoned pork.
