I got the braised pork bento and the popcorn chicken rice bento box. The braised pork melts in your mouth and the chicken is well seasoned and fried. They also give you a lot of chicken with the meal. I just realized my chicken bento didn't come with a tea egg which is my favorite, but maybe it never did. I'm still giving this place 5 stars for flavor, portion, and convenience.

Usually good, sometimes they forget to season it and it comes out boring and bland, but keep an eye on the workers and they will add as much as you want. Contrary to popular belief, they are cash only. However, THEY ARE NOW CLOSED!!!!

Chicken was still raw after paying $16.50 for our 3 snacks. Wanted a quick bite to eat before the bus ride home at around 10:40pm and didn't wanna spend $25 for wings at the coop so settled for the popcorn chicken place. It was run by two sweet old ladies but they didn't cook the our order right. The popcorn chicken was okay but the bite sized pieces are so big and some parts of the popcorn chicken was a little red/ink but might be just from being dark meat? Idk. It was crispy and the first few bites were good but near the middle it was pretty flavorless and I was tired of it. The sweet potato fries (with plum sugar) were cooked in the same fryer after the popcorn chicken so the fries had a very unpleasant salty sweet umami mess of a taste. Very unsettling and not tasteful at all. Ended up giving both away to a homeless man because we just couldn't bring ourselves to keep eating it sadly. The New Orleans style chicken wings weren't eaten til we got him because we didn't want to eat with our hands after having just taken the subway. To our dismay the chicken wasn't cooked all the way and bright red/pink. Disgusting and terrible for customers health. If there were separate fryers for sweet dishes and salty dishes that would probably solve these issues and if the chicken was cooked longer maybe it would've tasted okay. Who knows. We just have a bucket of half fried/raw chicken in the trash now and wasted $16.50 with unsettled stomachs.

The popcorn chicken will satisfy your crave but it's nothing to write home about. It has a full salt and peppery taste and the chicken itself is very juicy and tender but mostly not crunchy. For six dollars you get an overflowing small bucket of them so the value is quite nice. My mama tells me plastic bags are quite dirty so I didn't like the overflowing pieces touching the bag before entering my mouth. I much prefer the usual paper box packaging from other vendors.

It's a hole in the wall Taiwanese spot, I was pretty happy with this place, it's a place you order to go only. The food was good, cheap and the food came out reasonably fast. The food: Original Chicken Chops- I thought this was really good, nicely fried, really crunchy and not greasy. I liked how juicy the chicken was, I think I prefer this over the popcorn chicken but both are good options. Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken- med spicy. I enjoyed this and I would get this again, the flavor was good and it had a little bit of a lingering kick. The medium spice had a little bit of heat but wasn't too spicy. I liked the chicken, I thought the chicken was fried well and it wasn't greasy.

I am surprised at their low rating... Maybe I need to try it again? But I really really enjoyed their Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. The chicken batter and meat was so flavorful and well seasoned. They're a great grab & go place and is super quick and efficient! No complaints here.
Loved the popcorn chicken. It goes through the heater oven to be re-heated. Chicken still good and the salt condiment was perfect together.

The worst place EVER!! I never usually leave bad reviews but it was necessary. $9 for a COLD pork bento box which was 90 percent fat anyway. I was so upset when I opened my package because I was so hungry and now so disappointed. I could be dying of thirst, I will NEVER come back here again. Disgusting! Please save your money. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They'll serve everyone that's asian before you and you can be LITERALLY standing IN THEIR STORE and they'll say they forgot to give you your order? Food definitely isn't good enough for the service they give everyone who isn't Asian.
