It's Saturday and decided to bring my wife for a quick date night. The place looks cozy and the food selection looks pretty unique. I had the Wagyu burger while she had the Beef rib with bone marrow. Both food came out good and we will definitely come back.

We placed an order to order four items on DoorDash for delivery. I knew something was odd when the bag of food seemed so empty. Upon checking the receipt, I realized food was missing. I called tavern directly and spoke to a lady. She tried to resolve by asking me to contact DoorDash and have it re-delivered or I can go pick up. I contacted DoorDash and opted for a refund because dealing with the hassle, wasting another 30 mins and tipping again simply didn't make sense. Not only did I waste my time, I lost out on the tip money for the DoorDash delivery person. It wasn't his fault at all. I contacted Tavern again to inform them that I got a refund and mentioned to them how horrible this experience was. The lady insist that they can remake the order and I can go pick up. Seriously? You want me to waste my time to go pick up and then head back home to eat what would become cold food?As continue to speak my mind, she offered a credit to dine in. It's a nice gesture, but meaningless after wasting 20 mins BTW, when I called the second time... James on the receipt picked up and he was clueless. He didn't apologize or acknowledged that he messed up. Instead, he handed over the phone to the lady that I spoke to.

The interior of the restaurant was cute and the vibes were intimate and cozy. Not bad for a date night or dinner with friends. I dined in with my friend and we started off with the oysters and uni as well as the octopus ceviche. Both were good I actually preferred the appetizers over the entrees. For the entrees we ordered the duck breast and foie gras and the braised short rib & bone marrow. I've tried the braised short rib previously before but the most recent time I had it, it was a little too salty. But the duck breast was really good! I would order it again the next time I visit.

The CP value of Happy hour is very high, 6 oysters are only $8, House wine is $5, there are not many side dishes options, and the dinner price is on the high side, but they are all fresh and delicious.The decoration is very special. There are wine bottles hanging directly above the bar. The bookcases on the right wall are divided by picture frames. There are small tables and high chairs in each frame. Lighting made of deer antlers hangs from the ceiling. You can see it everywhere. Ingenuity.

This review is based on the prefix menu for Valentine’s Day. To summarize: pretentious without soul.Service: service seemed a bit slow, took a while for us to get our bread and get someone to get the order. However, it was Valentine’s Day and very busy, so we will forgive a bit. The staff were very friendly and attentive when they did get to us.Atmosphere: very quaint, cute and modern. They did play the same song 5 times, a female rendition of drakes “beeper” song.Food: we ordered the short ribs/bone marrow and the salmon. For appetizers it was the scallops and the foie gras. The scallops were made ceviche style? Weird. The foie gras had fish eggs, so weird again. The short ribs were overly seasoned, good presentation but flavor did not match. The salmon was dry and had nothing to complement it. The dessert was fine, nothing to write home about.Maybe it’s just different tastes? Come here for ambience but not amazing cuisine.

The Food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the ambiance of the place was spectacular, I came here on a date and The Appetizers were amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the entree and dessert were amazing, Definitely Recommend this place for a very special intimate date.

I'm just going to put it lightly. Hands down, the best oysters I've ever eaten. The ocean was in my mouth. The caviar was so fresh you can literally see the baby salmon IN the egg sacks still swimming about, and the horseradish essence gave it a VERY refreshing kick! The sea urchin and foei gras combo were bites of heaven. Problem is, the bill is already at $110. But they gave us free fries cause I used my Yelp Review coupon so it's okay lol. We also ate the delicious mussels in red sauce and it was amazing! The overall dining area is the coziest so far. Everyone was respectful, quiet and our waitress was the absolute sweetest. We finished off with the crème brûlée and we're 100% satisfied with everything. Expensive, yes, quality through the roof however!!!!! Don't come in here with anything less than $150 in your pocket and prepare to be delighted.

Attended a baby shower in Tavern 157 and I like the food and service provided here. In terms of Ambiance it was on the smaller size. But, it was quite charming. Unfortunately, I don't drink. But, I was told that was good as well. Just don't try ordering coffee since only thing they have is the instant kind.
We came at night and we ordered orange blossom drink, potion no. 9, crab & spinach dip, foie gras & uni, seafood spaghetti, and 31 day aged by strip. The service was very good and the servers were super nice! The food was great and the same with the drinks! Definitely a shout out to the cocktails! The ambiance was very nice and the music was very chill and relaxing. The only issues I face was how cold the inside was despite the door being close and not being near the door.

Came here for dinner with friend from Singapore. The ambiance was enjoyable like an old library with book stands, stairs, stools, and tables. The lighting was dim enough to project the library feeling too. Seamless integration I checked in with Yelp and i claimed free fries offer. Pretty generous on the fries I ordered a burger cooked medium rare. It was alright. I had better burger elsewhere tho... It was a cold night so I ordered hot water to warm my hands. I saw dust particles at the bottom of my cup of water, it seemed the cup wasnt properly cleaned. I ordered another cup of water, and it also came with particles in the bottom as well. Twice was enough. They need to clean up their dishes properly, cant believe it happened twice! : (
