Beautiful place to stop for breakfast. Rates are reasonable and the dosa comes out fast. Also really lovely to check out the temple after finishing tea and breakfast.

Very good authentic South Indian food at a very reasonable price.

BEST SAATVIK FOOD!Finally got to relish the amazing Indian food that I always saw on social media. The food quality and quantity are perfect. It was nice to experience quality vegetarian food at a reasonable price. They also sell packaged snacks and sweets. Only disappointment was the coffee. It didn’t taste like authentic South Indian coffee.

Food - 5/5Shouting in mic with the most irritating voice at the highest volume - 0/5Trust me it spoils the whole vibe of the place and pleasantness after visiting the temple. Here is my suggestion on what you can do,1. Assign numbers to the tables2. While taking the orders ask the table number they are sitting3. Serve food to the table instead of shoutingYou can employ people for serving by barely charging a few cents per item (looking at the crowd)

I love the bisebela bath that they make. They make an awesome tamarind paste along with rasam, sambar and other powders.

A little gem straight from the heart of India. My 80 year old Indian father from Bangalore was impressed (by the food but also the clientele - he was so happy to see so many other Indians in NY :)

We have ordered for Jumbo Idli vada, which is not up to the mark and Spl Paneer Dosa which is over fermented.

Hands down best dosa, idli, vada, chutney, upma, pongal, mysore pak, and madras coffee. You can do Abhishek in Ganesh temple upstairs on a full stomach. Very satisfying and may improve your karma! Just not on a weekend though when it's crazy packed.

While service staff are good, quality and taste of food has deteriorate. Sambar was more like watery Urad dal. Quantity is less, you need to spend extra money to get Dal.

Profound Profundity

The best authentic home-made South Indian snack food in the whole of NYC. Everything on the menu is cooked by traditional cooks, be it idli, vadas, dosais, uthapams or anything in the category. The sambar is the traditional thick sambar made at home, not the watery non-descript stuff in "hotels".Just A+ class. Oh BTW, the lines can be long!!Everything is recommended!!! As connected to the Hindu temple everything is strictly vegetarian.
