Maybe it's just this location, but the drinks weren't that good?

The Alley is my favorite chain. I felt like this one, however, was a little watery. I will still come back and give it another shot but I was a little disappointed that the tea flavor was not coming out as strongly as I wanted it to.

The boba tea itself is okay, but it is obvious the chain COMPLETELY neglects this location. The shop itself is nice, but it is very oddly dark which makes it a bit unwelcoming. I drove two hours for the Jujutsu kaisen collaboration, which they do NOT have (no fault of the staff here, but rather their brand instagram who advertises it heavily but fails to say its not available at every location. Coincidentally, this is their only shop on the east coast ?) The staff is unwelcoming, there are other comments of them being rude, but I think this is more due to again the chain neglecting this particular store, leading to the workers not caring much. There was only ONE person working and I went at a time that is usually busy.Inside you order through a kiosk, which is nice if you're an introvert! But it makes it hard to approach the counter if you have questions.Overall I'd go somewhere else, the boba is okay but there are better tasting and more cost effective places- though they do offer oat milk on (some of?) their teas for free!((Their brand instagram will completely ignore any questions about this store btw, so don't expect much))

RUDE RUDE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not sure who the owner is or who the boss is but he definitely needs to change the staffs ESPECIALLY THE MALE ASIAN WORKER. He wore a fake designer sneaker and was sitting at the front chair with his laptop open watching a youtube video on MAX volume. My friends were all annoyed and we couldn't hear each other. Most the cashier people were rude and had no greetings or thank you's and don't even care if you're there. Horrible workers. Drinks were okay only when they had the taro balls. Multiple negative reviews on the staff and workers but no one is taking any actions really diminishing the business and reputation. Guess the boss doesn't care about losing money while paying the rent.

The first time I drank brown sugar milk tea, I was shocked. Take two sips and throw it away. . .

Not my first time to get bubble tea here. However, the gentleman who was working there was so rude to me this time. Giving me a bad attitude. Not even saying thank you to your customer.

Really great interior design! Had a modern design and super cute cafe styleBubble tea was mid. Doesn’t really have a specialty drink and tasted too artificial and fruity despite the lack of fruit which in my opinion isn’t a healthy sign. Yes, bubble tea are generally not healthy, but for this price, there’s too much additives and artificial sweeteners for it to be cost worthy. I think there are definitely other bubble tea chains that would have use real fruit for the same price. Two staff were talking in the back of the kitchen while one staff was working and making bubble tea. No one was at the cashier or had the intention to take my order. All the staff were immature and not ready for the service industry.

The store says the business hour is 11am to 10pm daily. Walked in at 9:30pm and the guy working at the store said it was closed. When I confronted him about the business hour, he said " WE CLOSE NOW!" in a very rude tone. If they don't want my business, I won't give them any no more.

I finally tried this place in NYC. I first had The Alley in Thailand and it was good especially when the weather is hot. Today, I had bubble milk tea on a cold day and it was tasty. The milk tea was creamy and flavorful. The boba had enough sweetness, but can be softer. The service was laid back; the young workers enjoying themselves. You can order your drink on the kiosk without interaction with human. It was calm for a Sunday rainy evening, so it was nice and quiet inside with lots of seats.

Cute place in Flushings Chinatown! Their ube brown sugar milk tea was good, but nothing to write home about. Granted, I'm not a big fan of ube drinks, but I wanted to try it since it was one of their popular ones. The ube milk tea was better than other ones I've had, more light and less strong. However, the taro chunks were not my favorite texture, and I would've preferred this drink without them.

Disappointed! I got the brown sugar boba and it lacked flavor, it literally just tasted like milk. For $8 it was so underwhelming, I even got the regular (small) size. The earl grey was $7 and they charge more if you get it hot?? It's not worth it and if you want better boba I recommend tiger sugar or even coco. However, the store is pretty, there's a good amount of seating and the music is calming. There's also POS so it's super easy and fast to order.

Overall not recommended. Boba is too soft. Milk tea has less tea flavor.
