They charge a $5 dine in fee which I paid when I paid for the meal. However, when the food was ready it was for take out, she tried to say it was a mistake but didnt offer give my $5 back. I had to ask for it.Very pricey food also. A bowl for 1 cost me $40! I would avoid.

Nice people but really expensive. I at here many years ago when it first opened. It was expensive but at least the flavor was good. I went back tonight and it was $35 just for me. I was hoping the flavor would save it but all I taste is bland and spice from the szechuan pepper corns. The quality of the beef isn't very good either. Don't waste your money.

too expensive. The eldest sister who caught the code was very aggressive, and she didn't want any money to catch her. There will be no next time. Please pay attention to lightning protection! Bad review Bad review Bad review

Don't go. They short you on stuff. I clearly saw her put in 4 shrimp. Once we got home there was only 2. Shorted on the chicken wings also and I'm the others also. Go to the place next door.

The dry hot pot tasted alright. Very pricey. $13 per pound. That tray in the picture cost $80. Service was pretty good.

This place has failed me multiple times an I keep forgetting to not return here or order online for delivery from this place. First off, I was cursed out by the lady because I did not want to order anymore after finding out they changed the minimum order needed for free rice. I can just go down to the other mala place for extra rice for the same price. This woman cursed out my mom in Chinese, real professional lady. I ordered online for delivery from chowbus. The order was roughly $50. How much beef did they give me ? Roughly 4-6 pieces of beef. Completely got ripped off. I hate this place with such passion. I have to remember this restaurant name and avoid it at all cost on the food delivery apps. This is the corner mala place at the new world food court. Run away for dear life

Dry hot pot is so good, the selection of meats and vegetables is not vast but it’s more than decent. Pretty affordable too. It’s great to share a bowl with a friend (aka good hangover food). Bring cash as a deposit for the bowl!

This place has gone downhill. I was a frequent customer when they opened. Before the pandemic, I came here and ordered my usual food but turns out they changed the policy from 2 rice to 1 rice if you spend $20. The lady only put beef and tripe into the big bowl for me at that point. When I found out about the policy, I told her that I always got 2 rice bowls and didn’t realize they recently changed the policy. She grew impatient and yelled if I still wanted the food. Because of her nasty attitude, I declined and this is when she started cursing my mother out in Mandarin. Real professional, tianfu! So for over three yrs I boycotted this mala store and just this weekend, I ordered delivery from chowbus and did not remember that this was the restaurant that gave me garbage customer service. I ordered $33 worth of food and when I received the food, let me tell you how angry I was. For meat…..It was suppose to be 3 portions of fatty beef and 2 portions of tripe. I only received a top layer of beef and 3 pieces of tripe for two people. 75% of my dish were veggies, mostly cabbage. Whoever picked out the food has no knowledge of ratios and proportions.I highly suggest you avoid this corner mala place at all costs. Buy your mala from the place in front of the escalators, at least they won’t curse you out.

Do NOT commend this place! It is located in a corner of the food court. It used to be good, but its food quality has gone downhill. The meat, especially the sliced beef, in their dishes is really bad now, perhaps because they just want to reduce cost and now use low-quality/cost materials and preparation methods.

I wish Northeast New Jersey had a mara xiang guo with such a deep taste. The spiciest taste is really very spicy. The leftover mara xiang guo is delicious even if you take it home and eat it with fried rice.

Had a excellent experience in this spot with my kid. The food comes out fast and the service is just awesome. Prices are reasonable.
