Best place to get some food when in a rush. The service is quick, rates are fair, great character. Will come back again

Food was just ok, but we had to wait forever for a table.

Service was OK. Space is clean. For those who wants to eat a simple dish of rice or pasta is good and not expensive. We went two times cause we were at asiatic hotel. We spent around $20 for two person. Ate pasta and rice. Good portions. Usually if you spent more than $20 they offer something to eat. Nice place and nice service.

The food and service is great but at the end of the meal they said no credit card. After everything we ordered it way over $100. We thought it was very weird given it is a big restaurant. On my way out there was a big sticker on the door that says Visa and MasterCard. There was no explanation.

This place is constructing or closed down. There was no sign on the door or anything on their social media stating that they will be closed. However, there is a old blackboard advertising against a tree out on the street. Came all the way from Brooklyn and was quite disappointing to find out since we really wanted to try their steamed seafood/congee. Also called a few times while we were at the door just to make sure but no reply. While leaving at a distance, a lady had unlocked the door from the outside to get in the restaurant. I'm not sure what had happened, but wish there was an explanation somewhere. Awkwardly enough, someone posted on Yelp 2 days ago and said the food was good. Was looking forward to try it but oh wells.

This is the place you come to satisfy your steaming needs. All those videos and pictures you saw that made you want to lift that big lid off the steamer, well look no further!

Server are very attentive, food are fresh however cleanliness not very good. They put RAW food ( seafood) and COOKED food ( fried fish skin ) in the SAME plate !!!

I like this place. I haven’t been to a place that you steam your food, rather than boiling like hot pot. The tastes good and the service was good. The only catch is that it is pricey.

I've never given 1 star in yelp but I guess I'll have to this time. We put on the bill with tips as $82 but they charged us $89 instead. This is not due to our handwriting as the waiter did confirm $82 with us. $7 more tips without our consent! It's not about money but honesty. How do people feel comfortable to dine here again if they can charge whatever they want? Had this not happened, I would have rated 5 stars as everything else is good. But now it's the most horrible restaurant in the world.

Had a pretty decent meal here during Thanksgiving - we had a large group of 16 people (had our own private room). This is definitely a good place for group gatherings, with your choice of steam pot or hot pot. If you are looking to use the large steam pot, make sure to call and make a reservation at least a week in advance, because they only have 2 large ones. Food made with steamed pot allows you to appreciate the original flavor of the food ingredients. For appetizers, we ordered geoduck sashimi (very fresh, served on ice), and the remaining parts of the geoduck were used to cook congee (porridge made from rice). This was very refreshing and I recommend trying if you like seafood and has a large group. We ordered assorted meats (pork ribs, chicken, thinly sliced beef, and lamb) and seafood (scallops with garlic, king crab, other crabs wrapped in bamboo leaves, and fish). I especially enjoyed the seafood - scallops, crab meat, and fish. So strongly recommend you to prioritize seafood dishes when ordering. Also remember to call in advance and reserve for the King Crab if you're interested. We also ordered assorted vegetables that used a smaller steam pot on the side. This helped to make it a more balanced meal. Service overall was quite good, they helped divide all the food to us for every dish considering the size of our party. They were also attentive and made the cooking/dining experience quite enjoyable. Happy dining!
